Licking her lips as she walked up to the right apartment, Yoshi opened the door with a barely there snick and stepped into the short hallway. Closing the door behind her, she brought her gun up, checking the silencer before holding it out before her.
Walking down the hall, she leered as she found Gin standing at his table, looking rather surprised. The sound of the gun was a muffled whump in the silence of the apartment. The bullet hit her target, making him go down with a hard thud. Moving quickly, she headed to the living room, listening to her blood rush through her body. It was making her want to move faster, kill faster, want to get her job over with so she could find a partner for the night to celebrate a job well done.
If she was lucky, she would be able to finally get Jin into her bed.
The very thought of it send shivers of lust through her as she stepped into the living room. Movement from the side of her eye made Yoshi dodge out of the way of Sados fist but was forced to drop her gun when it caught her hard enough to jar her muscles.
“Bastard,” she snarled, stumbling back and rubbing at her arm. Sado just gazed at her with a steady look as he kicked the gun away, out of the living room. “I’m going to enjoy killing you,” Yoshi taunted, pulling out another gun from a back holster and aiming at him, firing a shot off. The large man was barely able to move out of the way, feeling the heat of the bullet as it passed by him. “Hold still, you bastard!” she yelled, trying to get a proper bead on him, Sado never stopping his movements as he drew closer to her, eyes dark.
“I don’t think I will,” he rumbled, rushing at her, once more knocking the gun out of her hand, and once more kicking it out of the way before grunting as she landed a kick in the side. “That kind of hurt,” he said, raising an eyebrow as he caught her fist and shifted his entire body, using her momentum to throw her across the room. She screamed in pain as she landed hard on her side and hip with a hard sound.
Groaning, she shifted so that she could kneel on the floor, her hands holding her up as she painfully got to her feet. Sado waited patiently to see what she would do next.
“Stay down please. I do not want to hurt you even more,” he warned, eyes narrowing as she snarled and shifted to her feet, getting ready to attack him again.
“I will not stop until you’re dead,” Yoshi gasped, smirking as he moved her eyes over his body. “My aren’t you a big boy? How I would have loved to have gotten you into my bed, “ she purred before shrugging. “To bad.”
With that, she lunged once, lashing out with a series of kicks and punches, a few landing as Sado defended himself against her, landing a few of his own hits on her. Finally, he was able to once more toss her over his hip, this time making her topple over the couch, taking it down with her.
Watching as the piece of furniture flipped and her body disappeared over it; he twitched and narrowed his eyes as he waited for her to come back up. A soft moan reached his ears as she came up, pushing herself with the use of the couch. She stood, pointing the gun that she had been forced to drop just moments ago, pointing it at him again.
“You fucker! That land bruised my hip so much that I can feel it actually stiffen,” she sneered, eyes flashing as she kept one hand on the couch to help keep her balance. “I’m going to shoot you in your fucking kneecap before shooting your nuts off! And then I’ll shoot you in your head.”
“Put the gun down, Yoshi, I will shoot you,” Renji stated from behind her, the red head standing in the doorway of the living room, holding his own gun, aiming at her. “You will not win,” he snarled as she glared at him over her shoulder.
“Fuck you,” Yoshi snorted, turning back to Sado, noticing that he had once again taken to moving around, making it harder to get a proper bead on him. “Will you stay still, you son of a bitch?”
“Again, I don’t think so,” Sado stated, dodging out of the way as she fired, Renji jerking at the muffled whump, eyes narrowing.
“If you don’t put the damn gun down, I will shoot you,” he warned her once more, eyes narrowed. “Last fucking warning, Yoshi.”
“I will not!” she screeched, firing at Sado, punching another hole into his wall, plaster flying. Renji just shook his head, aimed and fired, watching Yoshi jerk as her gun feel to the floor. She looked down to her shoulder and pressed a hand against it, blood slipping out of the wound created by the bullet.
“You shot me,” she breathed in surprise only to screech when Gin walked in with a roll of gauze in one hand and a phone in his other.
“Don’ ya just love bullet proof vests? Just sit on the fuckin’ floor and don’ do anything and the next bullet won’ end up in your head,” Gin said, Sado moving to grab his first aid kit. Pulling on gloves, he walked over to her and picked up her gun, moving it away from her to drop it into an evidence bag. Yoshi just watched with wide eyes before a bit of hysterical laughter escaped.
“You knew we were coming to kill you, didn’t you?” she asked, eyes widening as Gin pressed some of the gauze over her wound. “Jin knew you knew and he still sent us,” she giggled, body shaking as the sound of sirens grew closer and closer.
“She’s getting it faster then I though she would,” Renji snorted as he put the other gun into an evidence bag, his own going into a third. “Yeah, we knew. Yes this was a suicide mission. And yes, you will be charged for every crime that you ever committed while working as a Bount. How does that sound?” he asked as he walked over and snapped the cuffs on around her wrists. The feeling of her Talent being cut off made her screech once more.
“Renji, get the door will ya?” Gin asked, wrapped a bit of strip gauze around Yoshis shoulder before looking at her lover, who was sitting on a chair that hadn’t been toppled over during the fight. “Are ya alright?” he asked, nearly standing up to check on him himself. Sado waved a hand, smiling gently.
“I’m fine, Gin. Frisk her before the paramedics get here. I’m going to be sore but I doubt that anything is broken and I’m not bleeding from any gun shot wounds,” he told his lover, who nodded and moved to check over Yoshi.
A small ankle gun, three knives of various styles and two vials of poison were found on her. All of the evidence was placed into evidence bags and then put into specialized holding areas as the paramedics arrived. She was soon on a back board, still handcuffed, as Renji called Byakuya and carried down to the ambulance with a couple of detectives from another division of the Specialty Unit.
“I’m going to grab the tapes and start writing out my report while we wait for the crime scene techs,” Renji stated, Sado and Gin nodding in agreement.
“Ya do that. Sado, I could use some help getting my vest off. My ribs are startin’ to throb,” Gin moaned, shaking his head with a frown. Sado reached over and gently helped him out of his shirt and then vest; Gin hissed when he had to lift his arms ups, stretching his ribs.
“It looks as if you’re going to have quite the spectacular bruise going on,” Sado drawled, brushing his fingers over the bruising that was already coming up from where the bullet had hit. “Some ice, some of that bruise rub and a week or two after x-rays for both of us and you’ll be good as new,” he said, Gin laughing lowly.
“Why the both of us?” he asked, picking up his shirt and sliding it on slowly. Sado lifted his own shirt to expose his own side where a bruise was appearing.
“Need to make sure that one kick didn’t crack or break one of my ribs,” Sado replied, Gin running his own fingers over the bruise as several techs arrived.
“Renji is in the bedroom. We need you to gather bullets and any other evidence, including pictures of the scene if you can,” Gin stated, the group before him breaking apart to do that. “We are heading to the hospital ourselves to get our ribs checked out, so if you have questions you know where Renji is.”
“I’ll drive. I still have my range of motion,” Sado said, finding his keys as Gin drew his phone out of his pocket, the device vibrating. Opening the texts, he smirked as they walked down the stairs towards Sados car.
“It looks as if six Bounts are down, so that makes us number seven,” Gin drawled, Sado smiling as he opened the door to his car.
“That’s good. It means that this is almost done than,” he said, moving around to the driver’s side as Gin closed his door. Sliding behind the wheel, he played with a bit of Gins hair. “It also looks as if I’m staying over tonight to.”
“That sounds good ta me,” Gin drawled, eyes flashing with his pleasure. “And only four more Bounts, including Jin, to catch. Here’s hopin’ things go right,” he said as Sado started the car, a smile playing over his lips.
As Gin and Sado headed towards the hospital, two small males broke into Byakuyas home, snorting at the near child’s play of it. Hot and Ban knew where everything was, and thus was able to avoid tripping the alarms. Ho opened the back window and helped Ban into the house before following after. The two were soon in the living room and sitting on the rather comfortable couch, waiting for their target to arrive.
Their information stated that Byakuya came home around that time so that he could feed his fish and make something quick to eat before heading back to the office. It was like clock work and the two were watching the fish swim about in the fish tank just to pass the time.
“I’m surprised that someone hasn’t popped up yet to find out why there’s a light in the study window,” Ban said, pulling out a pack of menthols. Despite their looks, they weren’t children and were well into their 20’s.
“The data did show that despite living behind a surrounding wall, there isn’t much in the way of security,” Ho replied, taking a cigarette from his brother and using the same flame to light. As they smoked, he glared at one wall. “Do you think that Jin is fucking with us? I have a feeling that something is going on with him and that worries me.”
“I have no Earthly idea. He’s been acting all squirrelly since he started to obsess about that Ichigo Kurosaki guy,” Ban snorted, tapping the ash off the end of his cigarette. They missed the sound of a door opening behind them, a fake panel in the wall opening to allow Kenpachi to step into the room, a neck cuff held in his hands, ready to snap around one of the twins neck.
“I say after we finish off this Byakuya Kuchiki dude we ditch him. He doesn’t know about a few of our accounts and we can skim off our portion from the mission account to,” Ho suggested, dropping his butt down onto the floor, using one foot to snuff it out.
“Good. After this is over, we’ll disappear,” Ban drawled, doing the same with his own cigarette, tucking the pack away. “Shall we do the usual?”
“Sorry, boys, you won’t be doing anything,” Kenpachi stated, quickly wrapping the neck cuff around Hos neck, making the two jerk as their connection broke as Hos abilities were sealed away.
The screech that Ho let out was deafening as his eyes rolled back and his body went limp, falling to the floor. Starting to jerk and twitch, Ban fell to his knees and tried to get the cuff off of his brother’s neck, eyes wide and worried for the younger male.
“Ho! What the fuck did you do to him?” Ban screamed at Kenpachi who was watching everything with narrowed eyes. “What did you do to my brother?”
“I did nothin’,” Kenpachi growled, narrowing his eyes at the kneeling man. “The cuff is designed to cut off a Talents abilities, that’s all I know and all I care to know,” he snorted, growling as Ban stood up.
“Our bond was connected to our abilities, you lumbering jackass,” Ban hissed, pulling out a butterfly knife and lunging at Kenpachi. The large man found himself having to doge and move, finding it hard to get his own attack in on the small target.
“How was I to know that shit? You two kinda kept that away from anyone who should know,” Kenpachi roared as he tossed Ban into one wall. The small Bount was quick to attack once more, slicing at Kenpachi who just shrugged off the pain as he returned the hits, finding that it was easier to land a hit when Ban was close enough to actually be in his face.
Kenpachi was finally able to hurt Ban enough for the short man to stumble and stop his attack, panting heavily. The sound of shattering glass surprised the two men before a splash of blood, brain matter and skull flew from the side of Bans head. Falling to the ground, Ban twitched a few times as blood pooled under his him as Kenpachi stood straight and pulled out a small walkie talkie.
“Nice shot,” he said into it, going over to move Ho from the floor, not wanting for him to end up with his brothers’ blood all over him.
“Thanks. Call in the teams to clean up this mess and to take the catatonic one to the hospital will ya? I’ll be there in a few minutes,” a woman’s voice said over the line.
“Right, not a problem,” Kenpachi grunted, shoving the walkie talkie back into a pocket before pulling out his phone.
Lifting Hos eyelid, he found that the man did react, making him glad that he was still alive. It did look as if he was catatonic, which didn’t worry him to much. Flipping open the phone, he dialed the number he needed as he checked over Bans body.
“I need a couple of crews. We have one catatonic, one dead and a shit load of blood. We’re also gonna need someone to come in and take evidence of the scene,” he stated once the person on the other end hand given him an affirmative answer. Flipping his phone shut, he looked up and smirked at the woman who held a long sniper rifle in her hands, completely at ease with the dangerous weapon.
She smirked in return, cat like violet eyes glittering brightly as she tossed long, dark purple hair back over one shoulder. Darkly tanned skin was mostly hidden away by a long sleeved, black turtle neck and matching pants. The outfit made her easily missed when she had been perched in a tree, hidden by the branches that grew thick with leaves.
“So, who did I hit?” she asked, reaching down behind the couch to pull out a black case, placing it on the desk before opening it up.
“Ban. Ho has the neck cuff on and is currently in the catatonic state. Someone’s coming for both of them, Yoruichi-chan,” Kenpachi stated, moving to stand next to her. His eyes trailed over her lean body that had all of the right curves to his eyes as she started to break down and clean her rifle. He knew that she worked with a SWAT team in America that did much of the same thing as the Specialty Homicide Unit did. Or at least a SWAT team that worked with an American team that was like them. She was a long distance sniper and on loan for the mission, having arrived early that morning to help Kenpachi and act as his backup.
“Sounds like Szayels hypothesis about twins with abilities were correct, at least in the case of these two,” Yoruichi drawled, cleaning out the silencer and putting it down into its place before dismantling the rest of the rifle. She had told them that the rifle had been created personally for her, letting her dismantle it even more then a normal sniper rifle.
“”Yep, sounds like it,” Kenpachi rumbled, watching as long fingers used a pipe cleaner to clean the rifle barrel before placing it into its spot.
“So, you have a set up for those Bounts that end up hurt?” she asked in curiosity as she put the rest of her rifle away.
“Yeah, we do. They’re going to a maximum security prison and their hospital. For Ho, he’s going to probably end up with some very special care for him,” Kenpachi replied, gazing outside of the window as his phone beeped, telling him that he had text messages waiting. He would check them once the teams had started on the clean up and evidence gathering. “I need to get the tape. Can you set the teams to start doing what they need to do?” he asked, Yoruichi nodding as she closed and locked her case.
Heading back to the panel, he slipped into the private security room and grabbed the right tape before looking at the screens, frowning as Yoruichi let the techs in and gave them their instruction. Something about her just scratched at his instincts, making him think that she was much more than what they were told.
Ryuuken had told them that he had called some old friends in the Council, but he couldn’t remember the names the man had said. Tapping the tape against his lips as he watched the paramedics place Ho onto a stretcher, a memory popped into his head, making him smirk and walk back out, coming to stand next to her as he tucked the tape into a case.
“So, how did a Council high boy become a Unit worker? And an international one at that?” Kenpachi asked, getting an amused look from her.
“There are quite a few of us in the law enforcement world. It’s a lot easier to keep our people and other Talents in line when you can work within the law so much better by being the law,” Yoruichi replied, Kenpachi smirking as the techs worked around them. “Gonna check your texts there?” she asked.
“Yeah,” he grunted, pulling out his phone. After a moment, he was able to get it open before letting out a bark of laughter, startling a couple of the techs.
“What is it?” Yoruichi asked, looking at the phone, Kenpachi moving it away from her with a smirk.
“Our targets, Ho and Ban of the Bounts, make 8 and 9 of the Bounts taken out,” he drawled finally, sending out his own text of what had happened.
“Oh, hurrah. We’re so good,” Yoruichi drawled, picking up her case and smirking. “I’m heading to the office to type up my report. Meet ya there,” she chirped.
“Yeah, leave me with the geeks,” Kenpachi grumped teasingly, getting a laugh from Yourichi as she left with a wave over her shoulder.
“See you there,” she sang, making Kenpachi snort and shake his head.
