*~*~*~*~*
Putting his phone away, Ugaki smirked lightly and opened the door to Lolitas Dream. Stepping inside, he looked around at the selections and started to walk around the aisles as he noticed that his target was standing behind the counter, counting down his drawer.
He silently mourned the chance to sample the lean body, the chance to feel him under his body, crying out as he was well used. Ugaki was far from straight and had a lover who happily gave him all he wanted, but it was always nice to train someone to be his personal pet.
Smiling at the thoughts that flowed through his mind, Ugaki picked up a figuring of a gothic like fairy, finding it a male that reminded him of his lover. Placing it down, he made a note to pick up a few things for Mabashi.
Their anniversary was coming up again after all.
Looking up, he slid his hands into one pocket and headed towards the front, finding Shuuhei walking into the back area. Ugaki had to admire the strong back that well show cased by the lovingly tight jeans and shirt.
He almost pouted at the fact that he had to kill such a pretty boy. Almost.
Stepping around the counter, he pulled out his favorite butterfly knife and flipped it open, holding it as he smirked. He found Shuuhei going through a box, pulling out boxes of what looked like pens with fuzzy tops and decorative pencils, bobbing his head in time with the music that played through the speakers.
It looked as if his body guard wasn’t even in the same area as he was.
Walking up behind Shuuhei, Ugaki was quick to jump back with a yelp as Shuuhei swung around, swiping at him with a short, thick bat with a vicious snarl on his face.
”What? Expected me not to know about someone trying to sneak up on me?” Shuuhei sneered, raising an eyebrow as he held his weapon up. Ugaki growled and flipped his blade in his hand, feeling his back throb where he had hit the table, but ignored it. Slashing out with the knife, eyes flashing, Ugaki tried to take the man down, wanting to get the mission over before the need to make the man bleed and cry out overwhelmed him.
But with every dodge, every swing of a miniature bat, with every near miss on both of their parts, the blood lust rose, faster and hotter. Panting and leaning against one of the tables, Shuuhei pointing his weapon at the other man, Ugaki snarling again. Shifting on his feet, he lunged once more, crying out in triumph as he was finally able to catch Shuuhei, slicing open his shoulder and making him cry out himself.
“I’m going to cut you, you little whore,” Ugaki snarled, lips pulled back in a smug, not quite sane smile as he lapped up a bit of Shuuheis blood off of his knife.
“Yeah, like I’ll let you do that,” Shuuhei hissed, holding his hand over the wound, blood slicking his arm.
“You should give up, Ugaki. You won’t win,” a smug voice stated from behind the man, making him whirl around with wide eyes. Kensei stood there, brass knuckles on one hand as he cracked his knuckles. “Shuuhei is quite the fire cracker with that little bat of his. Had it specially made and learned how to use it to its fullest advantage.”
“I’ve seen him use that bat in practice and spars,” Byakuya drawled, coming to stand next to Kensei. “He took down Kenpachi once with that bat and a bit of strategy. You have no chance, even if he is wounded.” Snorting, Ugaki turned back to Shuuhei, running his eyes up and down the lean body as he tied off a piece of cloth around his bleeding arm.
“Him? No, I believe that I will end up gutting him before long and then I’ll take care of you two,” he drawled, flipping his knife a few times before lunging once more. Shuuhei yelped and used his bat to knock the knife away as he brought his fist up and landing a hard blow that jarred his wrist, sending adrenalin through his body.
“Come on, knife boy,” Shuuhei purred, waving a hand at the other man, moving out of the way as Ugaki let loose with a series of punches and slashes. He dodged and returned the hits, feeling bruises and cuts throbbing, pushing the pain away. Landing a hard hit to Ugakis head, he smirked broadly as the man went down with a yell, knife skittering away. Byakuya took the chance and dived, landing on the sprawled man, flipping him over onto his stomach as he yanked his arm back and pressed his elbow into the mans neck.
“Kensei, would you grab the cuffs for me?” Byakuya grunted as Ugaki cried out and shook his head, thrashing his body, in an effort to clear it of the fog from the bash to his head.
“Here ya go, Byakuya-san,” Kensei drawled, handing over the cuffs before moving to Shuuhei, running his hands over the wounds and bruises that looked painful. “I think you’re gonna be strictly on register duty for a few days,” he told his lover, who laughed before wincing, his split lip pulling.
“Might not be able to kiss as hard as we usually do. As for what I’m gonna be doing, you know that Ichigo is willing to let me do what I need to do after all of this is over with,” Shuuhei teased, both men looking over when Ugaki cried out again, his eyes wide as he gasped.
“What did you do!? Why is it so quiet!?” he cried, giving them confused looks.
“It’s the cuffs. They cut off a Talents’ abilities so they can’t be used against another person. For those who have abilities like yours, it can be a very startling change. I’m sure that you noticed that you only got from our minds what we wanted you to,” Byakuya stated, standing up with a bit of stumbling. “We’ve had time to train to keep you and Orihime out of our minds. Remind me to leave tackling people to guys like Renji and Grimmjow-san, yes?” he asked, getting a snort from Kensei.
“Why them?” Shuuhei asked teasingly as Byakuya stood up with a moan before reaching down and hauling Ugaki up off the floor.
“Because their bodies can take the abuse,” Byakuya stated, smirking at the other man. Shoving Ugaki into a seat, he pulled out a pad of paper and pen, starting to write things down. “Now, Ugaki-san, you were sent on a suicide mission, this being that as of yesterday. The Council removed your backing and told us everything about you guys. You and your fellow Bounts will be caught, taken in and charged to the full extent of the law, meaning you will either end up in jail for the rest of your natural life, or on death row,” he said, pausing in his phone as he pulled out his phone, flipping it open.
“Who is it?” Kensei asked, looking up from where he was dabbing at Shuuheis lip with a cotton ball doused with alcohol. Shuuhei turned curious green eyes towards them, eyebrow cocking.
“It looks as if our suspicions about Orihime were correct and two of the Bounts have decided that flipping on their partners would be a good idea,” Byakuya stated, closing his phone. Ugaki snarled and shook his head, deciding not to move when Kensei pulled out a gun and pointed it at him without batting an eye. “Yes, do attack us again. I’m sure that Kensei-san can shoot you knee out.”
“Fuck you, pretty boy. Who turned traitor?” Ugaki snarled, eyes flashing in distaste.
“Now, why would I tell you that?” came the return question, dark eyes sparkling with rare mirth as Ugaki snarled again, his own eyes flashing.
“I bet I’ll find out who turned on us and then I’ll present their heads to Jin,” Ugaki snorted, sitting back in his seat, looking smug. Shuuhei snorted and raised his eyebrow at him before smirking up at Kensei.
“Should I tell him or shall you?” he asked as Kensei checked his ribs with gentle pressure.
“You tell him. Luckily, he didn’t get to really hit you hard enough to break a rib, just bruise ya up,” Kensei drawled, stepping back. “Have ta treat you gentle like for a while.”
“Later, let me tell the knife wielding nimrod some cold hard truths about his precious Jin Kariya,” Shuuhei drawled, Byakuya snickering as he continued to write his report. “Kariya doesn’t expect any of you to come back to your base. He expects his precious Bounts to either be killed or captured because your backing from the Council has gone the way of the dinosaurs. What do you have to say to that?”
“I don’t believe you, you filthy whore!” Ugaki screamed, lunging up from the chair, only to fall flat, grunting as he hit the floor hard.
“Idiot. You really should watch where you’re going,” Byakuya stated, hauling Ugaki up once more, slamming him back into the chair. “Now, you can believe it or not, but it hardly matters. It’s the truth and you’re going to a nice cell that’s just calling your name.”
“Fuck you,” Ugaki groaned, shaking his head as the world spun from the pain coursing through his body.
As Ugaki was finding out just how much a bat to the gut could hurt, Koga was smirking as he walked into an apartment, gazing at the young man that was packing Ichigos clothing into suitcases. Tilting his head, he opened his mouth and started to weave his illusion that he wasn’t there. Uryuu paused only for a moment before starting to move once more, the spell taking a hold. Keeping it up, Koga pulled out his gun and listened to his target start to mutter about Jin and idiots.
Shrugging it off, Koga slid out the gun clip before returning it to its place and cocked it, pausing before deciding to wait for the other man, his target’s body guard. He figured his name was Starrk. He also wanted to hear just what the young man was saying.
“Talk louder,” he said, voice droning as Uryuu walked towards the closet, puling out a few skirts, snapping them to clear any dust off of them.
“The Bounts are all idiots. I mean, working for someone who lies about who he is? What he is?” Uryuu snorted. He knew that he was under an illusion, but he would play his part, not fight against it, the feeling crawling over his skin. Starrk had worked with him to recognize when a Talent was using their abilities on him and he had felt it the moment had started. He guessed that it was Koga, the voice illusionists.
Koga on the other hand was frowning, keeping his voice low so he could hear what Uryuu was saying. He was curious about what he meant by Jin lying about who he was, what he was. Koga looked around in an effort to see if there wasn’t something around to tell him how the man had found out any of Jins past when he couldn’t find a clue, much less drag anything out of the man.
“I’m just glad that that Yamamoto guy sent us all that information about the Bounts. Not that there was a lot about anyone but that Kariya guy. And damn, just listen to me: I’m starting to sound like Ichigo. I’ve been hanging out with him for way to long,” Uryuu said, shaking his head as he laid the skirts down and started to fold them.
Koga wondered just why the leader of The Council had sent any information of any kind, especially to a bunch of normal humans with no Talents themselves.
“Though, I have to say Kariyas history was pretty interesting,” Uryuu continued, sitting down and rubbed at one wrist as he stared at the wall. “He had to be a privileged brat, didn’t he? His parents were good business people, running and owning those restaurants in Germany and while he grew up, they sent him to some of the best schools in his home country.”
Koga felt shock rock through him, making him concentrate on his spell, keeping his voice steady. A spark of anger settled deep in his body as he thought of how Jin had told him that he had been a child of poor parents, fighting for scholarships and his place in the world.
What else had he lied about?
“When he turned 10 though, he was accepted to a boarding school that would lead him to the Ivy League schools, which is just amazing. When he turned 12, he was visiting his family for a school break. Amazing that his parents died in the house fire and that he just happened to be in his tree house and that it was so very far away from the house,” Uryuu sighed, shaking his head, glasses glinting. He could barely hear Kogas voice and could tell that with every word that came out of his mouth, they fanned the anger that he wanted.
When a person grew angry they made mistakes, like letting an illusion slip enough for Uryuu to hear his voice and tell where he was.
“Though, from what I read, the police did suspect arson and that Jin was a part of it, but they couldn’t prove it. Absolutely amazing at how he got away with that and then ended up getting everything that his parents built,” he hummed, pushing his glasses up his nose.
Koga could feel his anger rise and flame hotter with each word. Everything that Jin had told them was a lie, a lie that he used to gain their admiration and their trust. It was looking as if everything that they had thought about the man and his past was a make believe story that Jin had used to keep them in line. Koga hated being lied to.
Being used.
He watched as Uryuu once more stood and started to shift through the boxes on the closet floor, finding the right shoes that Ichigo wanted. One pair had a thick sole and heel, and had some weight to them. Uryuu knew that his friend only used them when he was going to be sitting a lot since they did have that weight.
“Of course, he has it all still. The business’ are run by a board of directors that never see him, can’t track him and only know him as a voice on the phone,” he stated, placing the shoes down, fussing with the heavier pair. Koga could feel the hot flame of anger flow through him as he clutched his gun tightly, wanting to growl but kept it up with the spell. He wanted to hear what else Uryuu was going to say. “Kariya probably has more money then he knows what to do with, especially since he has also expanded the business to include rental homes and condos, a few patent companies and some other things. He could probably leave the con and assassin for hire business and never have to work another day after that.”
Growling and hitting the wall, Koga felt the illusion break but could care less about it as it disappeared, his anger hot and flaming through his body as Uryuu blinked at him. Raising an eyebrow, the younger man picked up the hefty heeled shoe and held it in one hand, getting used to the weight. Walking towards the cursing man, he tapped Kogas shoulder.
“Koga-san, a moment. You should have realized by now that he sent you on a suicide mission,” he stated as Koga turned around, eyes bright. Pulling his hand back, he slammed it into the larger mans throat, making sure that he didn’t hit his windpipe. As he went down, Koga dropped the gun, the weapon going of and making Uryuu yelp and dance towards the bedroom door as the bedroom window shattered. “But you’re lucky I don’t want to clean up blood since it’s a bitch to get out of carpet,” he panted, eyes wide as he kicked out, catching Koga hard in the thigh, getting a wheezing moan.
“Be glad you were able to get him mad enough for him to fuck up so spectacularly, otherwise the Guardians and the Unit would be paying to redo the room instead of just replacing a window,” Kira drawled, Uryuu rolling his eyes. Starrk snorted as he stepped around Koga, who was still clutching his throat and glaring at them, and bent down to pick up the gun. Looking it over, including ejecting the clip, Starrk snorted before dropping it into a bag that Kira held out, the clip finding its way into another bag.
“Your gun sucks and needs to be cleaned. I’m surprised that it fired at all,” Starrk told Koga, raising an eyebrow at the shocked look on the kneeling mans face. “Why the shocked face? Isn’t that your gun?” he asked, Koga shaking his head as he wheezed.
“No. Jin… gave it… to me,” he got out, swallowing heavily and glaring at the bagged gun. The very fact that the gun had needed to be cleaned was proof that Uryuu hadn’t lied when he said that mission was a suicide. “Gave it… to me before… I left,” he continued, starting to cough heavily.
“Sounds like you did some damage to his throat there, Uryuu-kun,” Kira mused, Uryuu blinking at Koga as he hacked and coughed on the floor.
“Oops,” he said, blushing faintly and gazing at his bodyguard, who just shrugged as he yawned. “How about you cuff him and I’ll call Byakuya-san with the news that he was caught?” he suggested to Kira, picking up the shoe he had used and checked it over with a frown, making sure it wasn’t damaged.
Like hell he wanted to replace them.
“Now, Koga-san, these cuffs will be cutting you off from your powers, so please do not fight us. We will be taking you to the prisons hospital so we can check the damage to your throat,” Kira stated, pulling Kogas hands back behind his back and cuffing him with a raised eyebrow from the pliancy from the man.
“Whatever,” Koga husked, wincing at the feeling of his ability being cut off once the cuffs were locked into place.
“My land lord is going to throw a fit,” Uryuu grumped, shaking his head with a heavy frown on his lips.
“Don’t worry. You’ll be compensated. Just send the bill to Byakuya-san and he’ll split it with Aizen-san,” Starrk drawled as he pulled out his phone to check the text messages that had come in while they were watching. “Two Bounts flipped, the other three were caught. I’m going to take things apart and put away in the other room. I’ll get a copy of the tape to Byakuya in a couple of days,” he told Kira who nodded with a smile.
“Come along, Koga-san. Let’s get you to the hospital so we can get you processed,” Kira drawled, leading the man away as Uryuu muttered about broken windows and guns wielded by idiots.
“Call a repair man, Uryuu, while I take down the cameras. I’ll even buy dinner,” Starrk drawled, heading towards Uryuus room where the computers sat, the cameras still watching what was going on.
