Expectations

　

He didn�t fall asleep that evening, even though it was clear H�tsu had drifted off. He was in too much pain and far too uncomfortable to even attempt sleep. Every time he shifted in an attempt to get somewhat more comfortable, he could feel H�tsu�s shaft shift inside of him; tormenting torn walls and reopening the very thin scabs that had managed to form.

It took several hours for his body to render the reiatsu and DNA and the sickening feeling of his stomach churning made him want to throw up. More than anything else though, he wanted a shower, badly. His body was covered in blood and sweat and some cum had escaped around the now soft shaft buried inside of him, making his thighs feel just that much more sticky and disgusting. His face ached and he was pretty damn sure there were going to be bruises on both cheeks.

The once white slab was now stained a light pink with his blood. The amount he had lost might have had him more worried had he not understood that he actually hadn�t lost that much. Most of the bleeding had long since stopped as the wounds were rather shallow. The only ones that still did ooze blood were the very deep puncture marks on his thighs, that were definitely going to bruise, and anywhere a laceration ran across skin that moved a lot.

He felt H�tsu�s reiatsu stir moments before the Hollow shifted behind him, and in him. The second motion was highly uncomfortable and was growing painful as the shaft of flesh inside of him began to swell, further aggravating his internal injuries. He gritted his teeth and prayed that his new Alpha would not continue where they left off and actually give his body a chance to heal, but he severely doubted that would happen.

Sharp teeth suddenly plunged into his neck and his entire body shivered as H�tsu sucked at his neck. He let out a sharp whimper to let his Alpha know he was awake and forced his eyes open to stare at the far wall. He didn�t know if H�tsu�s order to keep his eyes open was still in effect, but he wasn�t going to risk anymore damage to his face, or possibly other body parts, just to find out. It was better to play it safe and his Instinct thrummed in agreement.

�Good morning pet,� H�tsu purred at him. �Did you sleep well?�

�No,� he answered softly in as meek of a voice as he could.

�Good. Are you hungry?�

Dear Kami if that wasn�t a loaded question. Of course he was hungry, any hollow would be after mating, but there was no meat lying around and he doubted H�tsu planned on just up and going hunting, which just left one other form of �feeding.� It was how things were normally conducted, for it was foolish to bring fresh meat back to a den and leave a trail for others to follow; if the Alpha was away than the Beta would be an exceptionally easy meal. He wasn�t necessarily against it as it was very common practice to feed from the Alpha. He had done it before without any qualms during his early Adjucus days when he�d had the rare chance to mate. He forced the thoughts away before he could dwell on them. He had a new Alpha that needed appeasing.

�I am,� he admitted softly and reluctantly.

He was starving and needed to eat, but he cringed at the thought of feeding from H�tsu considering how much of a mess they both currently were.

�But, I would prefer a shower first,� he tried in a vain effort to at least get their bodies clean.

H�tsu chuckled and licked a trail up Szayel�s neck, gathering up the blood that still welled from the most recent bite. The tongue continued to caress his neck and face, leaving a trail of disgusting saliva stuck to his skin and causing the bruises on his cheeks to smart painfully.

�Clean enough for you pet?� H�tsu questioned with a chuckle.

Szayel nodded his head, not at all interested in what H�tsu would do to him next should he say no. The need to shower was definitely overwhelming now, but somehow he doubted he would be getting a real one anytime soon.

�Good.�

H�tsu untangled their bodies and Szayel winced as the now nearly, fully hard length was removed from his body, letting the blood that had been held back trickle out, making his thighs feel that much more repugnant.

His Alpha crawled over his body and got off of the slab, stretching full out and showing off his impressive body before turning to face him and closing the distance between them once more. Szayel flinched as H�tsu grabbed his chin and pulled him up until he was sitting on the slab with his face a foot away from the one part of H�tsu�s body he really didn�t want to pay any attention to.

�Well pet. If you are a good boy I might go hunt something down for dinner. Fresh meat would be nice no?�

He nodded his head in answer and let his Instinct take the full front and retreated his Intellect back so he would have an easier time dealing with what he was about to willingly do. It would have been much easier to bear with if they had at least both been clean, or even just H�tsu, but the thought of taking something that had just been inside of him, that was coated in his own blood, into his mouth sickened him. It was completely unhygienic!

Szayel closed his eyes as he closed the distance between his mouth and his Alpha�s shaft, trying to concentrate on his hunger. His Instinct firmly took the forefront and acted as his Alpha desired. His tongue wrapped around the shaft being presented to him and pulled it into his mouth before sucking strongly like a babe nursing.

Hands tangled in his hair and he felt the prick of claws in his scalp. H�tsu purred in pleasure above him and thrust shallowly into his throat, but otherwise let him set the pace.

�Good pet,� H�tsu moaned.

His Intelligence roared in outrage, his Instinct puffed out in pleasure. It was making him sick to his stomach. It surprisingly didn�t take too long before he felt the liquid splash against the back of his throat. His Instinct purred in pleasure and suckled every ounce of the strong, reiatsu infused fluid it could glean from his Alpha. His Intelligence barely managed to hold the bile down; it was made easier by the fact that the liquid turned to reiatsu half way down his throat. The energy was absorbed by his body shortly after it was consumed, leaving him barely better off than he was before.

H�tsu sighed in pleasure and stepped back a bit, giving Szayel a bit of breathing space. One of the hands tangled in his hair moved away while the other moved down the side of his face to cup his chin.

�Such a good pet you are,� H�tsu purred. �Be a good boy now while I go hunting. If you behave when I return I might be inclined to feed you something solid,� H�tsu promised before stepping fully away, dressing, and leaving without another word or backwards glance.

It took a moment to register the fact he was finally alone. His Instinct retreated and his Intelligence came forward once more. He attempted to stand up and winced in agony as his lower back and rear screamed in protest. He staggered a bit and had to lean against the slab for support. It took several minutes to be able to stand up straight and handle the pain. Even then he couldn�t walk straight and had to lean against the wall for support.

He opened the hidden control panel and sent out a silent prayer before punching in the override code.

ACCESS DENIED

Feeling the first stirrings of panic he calmly entered the override code again.

He knew it wasn�t going to work. He had designed it specifically so anyone whose reiatsu had been coded into a room would be unable to use the panel just in case he ever caged someone smart enough to figure out the password or override/hack the system.

There was not a system built that could not be broken. He was a very intelligent person, but not even he was so vain as to believe his own system was impervious to being hacked. It would take ages and a very intelligent being to do so, but no system was unbreachable.

He knew his system, knew how it was programmed. If anyone stood a chance of breaking his own system it was himself. He knew he couldn�t hack it; that would not work simply because no matter what he typed in the system would refuse to acknowledge his reiatsu signature as valid. That left overriding it manually.

He set to work on it, but without tools or his reiatsu infused strength he was pretty much helpless in getting pass the main panel, let alone to the wires behind it. He growled in frustration and banged his head on the wall before stiffening.

H�tsu was returning and, to his surprise, he realized he had been at the panel for several hours. His Instinct stirred at the feeling of his Alpha�s approaching reiatsu, and he let it. His body had un-kinked a bit in the last several hours and a good number of his wounds had healed enough that they no longer bleed or hurt as much, a nice side effect of being a hollow. Unfortunately it took a large amount of reiatsu to heal and he was not too surprised to discover that he felt faint as he made his way back to the slab, his body all but collapsing on it.

The door opened and H�tsu walked in with a corpse casually tossed over his shoulder and something in his hand that looked like some sort of wrapped parcel. He eyed the corpse hungrily and felt saliva gather in his mouth.

�Hay pet, did you behave?� H�tsu questioned as the hollow dropped the corpse in a corner and approached him.

He was going to say yes, but his Instinct chimed up that it would be unwise. Both parts of his soul noticed that H�tsu�s eyes were tracing the bloody trail he had inadvertently left along the wall and floor leading to the door and back. He felt fear clench his chest, but was indeed smart enough to let his Instincts lead him through this situation.

He bowed his head and averted his eyes in silent admission to his guilt.

�Ah, the control panel,� H�tsu approached the wall where the panel was. �I suppose it would not be you if you didn�t try something,� H�tsu chuckled; shortly before putting his fist through the panel, causing it to erupt in a series of sparks and effectively killing it. �You have been bad pet. Do I need to punish you?� H�tsu questioned with a purr as he stalked over to the trembling former Espada.

He let out a whimper and let the trembling continue, in fact his Instinct insisted they increase it and he didn�t fight it. A hand grasped his chin and pulled his face up while the other hand brushed his pink strands aside. He wanted to close his eyes, but his Instinct surprisingly suggested otherwise and kept his eyes open.

�So beautifully. Your golden eyes so wide in fear, the way your body trembles in my grasp. I trust you will not attempt to escape again?�

Szayel gave a soft shake of his head.

�Good pet. You must be starving yes?�

A soft nod of his head. He tried not to look at the very appealing smelling corpse lying in the corner

�Then I suggest you eat,� H�tsu smirked at him but didn�t remove his hands from holding Szayel�s face still.

The intent was clear and he whimpered in protest.

�Ah, ah, you have misbehaved. From now on you shall feed from me and if I am pleased I may let you eat something more.�

His Intelligence reeled in protest while his Instinct just mentally shrugged and began to undo the belt holding up H�tsu�s hakama to let them fall to the floor. At least it appeared that H�tsu had taken the time to shower for his body was clean. It made Szayel feel rather jealous.

Once again it didn�t take long to coax a meal from his Alpha, and once again he might as well have eaten nothing at all as the reiatsu consumed instantly went to healing his wounds and forming their young.

�Mmm, you are so good at that pet,� H�tsu purred. �Good enough I think I might overlook your transgression. I do have a gift for you, one I think you will like.�

H�tsu handed him the package. He was beyond curious, wondering what on earth H�tsu could have possibly brought him. Whatever it was it felt solid so he severely doubted it was clothing. He resisted the urge to open it, but it was hard. Even his Instinct was curious to know what was in the package, but both parts of him agreed it was best to wait for permission.

H�tsu seemed pleased by the delay and finally gave him permission to open it. He did so, slowly and respectively untying the string that held it closed and unfolding the paper it was wrapped in. He blinked in surprise at what was revealed and was honestly surprised the hollow had thought up something so thoughtful.

�Thank you,� he whispered, and meant it.

�I trust you will use it.�

He gave a nod of his head, he would definitely use this daily, if not several times a day. His only concern was that there might not be enough pages to record everything, for H�tsu�s gift had been one of his blank Experiment Books with two pens. He could now record everything that was going on in proper, scientific detail while it was still fresh in his mind instead of hoping to recall it at a much later date when he was finally free of this creature.

�I know just how interested you were in studying King�s pet with their cub, well now you can have a firsthand account and record it,� H�tsu laughed. �I do expect you to behave or I will take it away, or perhaps break all of your fingers so you are incapable of writing in it. Yes I believe that would be a more fitting punishment no?�

�I will behave as any Beta would,� he whispered.

In a single act of what Szayel wouldn�t necessarily call kindness, more like tying another noose around his neck, H�tsu had given him something that would help keep him sane. He wanted to start writing right now, to open to the first page and begin filling in those pages, but his Instinct poked it�s nose in and reminded him they should probably show their Alpha just how pleased they were.

With a large amount of regret, he set the book and pens down under the slab where it was unlikely to get blood, cum, or any other fluids for that matter, on it. Once his gift was safe he turned his full attention back to H�tsu, even though the corpse in the corner was calling for him. He was still so very hungry but he didn�t dare ask to eat.

�You are a quick learner, I like that,� H�tsu purred pleased as the hollow joined him on the slab. �I think I want you on your back. Yes, I want to see your eyes while I mark you as mine.�

Sex was the very last thing Szayel wanted right now. His lower back and ass were still in pain and the thought of more torment did not sit well with him. Still, he knew better than to argue and he really, really wanted to eat; and to keep his fingers intact so he could start filling in the Research Book.

He shifted onto his back and resisted the very strong urge to glare at the wall instead of the ceiling (so H�tsu could still see his eyes of course) or beg to be left alone to bathe, eat and rest.

There was no preparation given and he gasped in pain as H�tsu bullied his way in. It didn�t hurt quite as much as it had the night before; partially because there was still wet blood and left over cum in his passageway to lubricate it slightly and partially because H�tsu�s shaft still had some of his saliva on it.

His Alpha took him quickly and painfully. Claws added more lines to his chest and teeth mauled his neck further, meaning he was going to have to waste even more reiatsu healing himself. He did not like where this was going and honestly feared that if H�tsu didn�t tone it down soon he might be drained enough to miscarry. The very though made his bones freeze. He did not think he would survive if he miscarried.

H�tsu finished with him quickly and this time untangled their bodies right away before standing up and adjusting his clothing back into place.

�I have something I forgot to do, I will be back. Do remember to behave,�

And with that he was once again alone in his cell. His first instinct was to eat the corpse in the corner, but the newly added pain in his body slowed him down long enough to really think that idea through. He had not been given permission to touch the corpse and he didn�t think he was going to starve to death anytime soon.

Instead he grabbed the book from under the slab and one of the pens. Flipping the book open he started on the first page.

　

Experiment: Arrancar Breeding

Subjects: H�tsu (Alpha) Szayel Aporro Grantz (Beta)

Purpose: To study the behaviour of a mated pair and the effects of a pregnancy on hollows of Arrancar level. Such things to be included consist of; changing behaviour patterns between the Alpha and Beta, the laying of the egg, the hatching of the egg, the successful raising of the young.

Hypothesis: I predict that most Instincts and effects will very slightly, if at all, from that of a typical Adjucus mating, as was indicated in my brief glimpses of another Arrancar mating. The laying of the egg, however, should be vastly different as the genitalia of an Arrancar and Adjucus have vastly changed, especially in that of a �male� specimen. No hypothesis at this time as to how the egg will emerge from a �male� body.

　

He read over his set up before giving a nod of his head in satisfaction that it would serve for now. He left a bit of extra space so he could add to it if needed and flipped to the second page.

　

Day 1:

The Alpha (identifying himself as H�tsu) has displayed a large amount of aggression. It is suspected the aggression may be the by product of being in pain from having been separated from the Subject: Kurosaki Ichigo (see experiment file 2523522S) just prior to mating.

The Alpha in this case seems to thrive off of a weak and terrified Beta, which is rather unusual for most Alpha�s, at least Adjucus ones, prefer a Beta who is on near or equal footing. Such behaviour seemed to have been consistent in an Arrancar mating as was demonstrated by the mating of Kurosaki Ichigo (Alpha) and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Beta), which can be viewed in experiment file 25235542M.

As such it is difficult to conclude weather or not the more aggressive behaviour by the Alpha in this case is typical or atypical. Regrettably, the lack of remaining Arrancar makes this study difficult at best. A decrease in aggression over time may indicate that the Alpha was, indeed, acting out due to the pain of his separation and anger towards the Beta caused by previous history.

The Alpha was very violent and aggressive during the initial mating and seems to currently have an odd obsession with viewing the Beta�s eyes during mating. Acting meek and broken seemed to sooth the Alpha�s aggression slightly, however the Beta still received several non fatal injuries including:

Bruising to both cheeks on the face.

Internal anal bleeding and passage tearing.

Multiple lacerations on the chest, back, arms and legs.

Multiple deep bite marks on the neck.

Muscle damage to the lower back and upper neck.

Deep puncture marks on both thighs with accompanied bruising.

Suspected bone bruising to the hip bones.

　

He had to pause after recording his injuries. It helped a little to write in the third person, as all good science reports should be recorded, but it served as a rather violent reminder as to just how blood thirsty and aggressive his new Alpha was. He took a few, deep calming breaths and continued his report.

　

After mating the DNA and reiatsu infused semen was absorbed by the Beta and merged with the Beta�s own inside the abdomen. The feeling of the rendering reiatsu was best described as �uncomfortable� and causing a �queasy� feeling to the stomach area. A drain of the Beta�s reiatsu was also immediately noticed.

It is suspected that further draining was due to the numerous injures inflicted while mating, leaving the Beta strongly deprived of reiatsu and already reliant on the Alpha.

　

Personal Notes:

H�tsu seems to thrive on seeing me broken and meek, no doubt due to the anger he feels at successfully caging Kurosaki Ichigo, whom H�tsu frequently refers to as �King� and Grimmjow, whom H�tsu often refers to as his �King�s pet.� He seems oddly protective of Kurosaki and even Grimmjow and the cub.

I have no way of knowing if H�tsu�s aggressive behaviour towards me will eventually change as his anger cools and the nominal instinct to protect Mate and Young will kick in, but I am not all together hopeful, and neither is my Instinct. He seems like the type to be a rather aggressive and assertive Alpha and I honestly believe his behaviour would not be much kinder towards a Beta he just met and Mated, although seeing his Beta �broken� might not be as strong with no past history but he is definitely the type to want a meek Beta whose only thought is pleasing him.

While my previous Alpha never cared for my own pleasure, he never went out of his way to harm me and Mating was pleasant most times. I suspect I will not find this time around to be pleasant in any way.

　

Szayel paused and set the pen down. He definitely didn�t think H�tsu was going to make this pleasant at all, in fact he strongly suspected the Hollow was going to do everything in his power make this as unpleasant as possibly; short of killing him.

He felt nothing else could be added and flipped to a new page, writing down �Day 2� at the top before adding to the record. There wasn�t much to add just yet since the day wasn�t over, so he made sure to leave space so he could jolt more down later. He made sure to comment on H�tsu�s surprising gift as well as to mention that he already seemed to be testing his Beta.

He felt his Alpha�s reiatsu returning as he finished up the last sentence under his personal notes and returned book and pen back to the dubious safety of the area under the slab.

The door hissed open and H�tsu strutted in, humming happily and eyeing the corpse on the ground with a slight grin of pleasure mixed with a tinge of disappointment. Clearly the hollow had hoped he had been foolish enough to touch the kill and would have an excuse to punish him even though H�tsu was clearly pleased he was learning his place so quickly.

�Eat, but save half for tomorrow morning,� H�tsu ordered.

He didn�t need a second invitation and slunk past his Alpha towards the food that had been calling him since H�tsu had walked into the room with it. It was hard to obey and eat just half when he was so hungry, but he managed to stop himself from eating the whole thing.

Once finished H�tsu summoned him back to the slab where his Alpha was ever so kind as to top off his meal before pinning him down on his chest and mating him again. It hurt, just like the previous times. Even more lacerations were added to his body as claws dug into his skin. H�tsu�s teeth tore into his neck, adding to the bite marks already lining it. Szayel wondered if the pain would ever subside, if H�tsu would ever let him heal properly or if this would be the norm until the mating was done.

　

　

　

Nah, it was stiff that happened IRL that ticked me off. The baby is doing fine and I got an Ultrasound on the 20^th to see how things are coming along in there. I am feeling better now, which makes finishing this little side story more difficult. The third chapter is nearly done, and I don�t expect it to take more than two more after that to tie it up with The Real King.
