A Visitor...On A Saturday?
"Ichi....GO!" was the cry that woke me from my slumber. A second later, a small plushy body was on my chest, frantically jumping up and down in attempt to wake me.
"Off, Kon," I grumbled, lazily pushing him off as I rolled onto my side.
"Get up, Ichigo!" he shouted, his tiny paws pulling at my shirt.
"It's Saturday, Kon," I slurred, "Let me sleep in."
"But you have a visitor!" he exclaimed. I grimaced at his excitement.
"Fine..." I mumbled, sleepily sitting up, the blanket sliding off somewhat. As I opened my eyes,my vision slowly came into focus, the bright light burning. A low groan expressed my discontent as I shielded my eyes from the blinding sun.
"Get UP!" Kon cried, doing laps around my bed joyfully.
As usual, I grabbed him and raised him into the air by his head, his limbs flailing wildly.
"LEMME GO!" he yelled, fighting against my grip.
"Then SHUT UP!" I growled as I flung him across the room.
Even though it was a playful toss, he hit the wall pretty hard and I admit, I felt kind of bad, but hey, he deserved it for waking me up like that.
"That wasn't very nice, Ichigo!" Kon whined angrily, rubbing a paw over his nose.
I stretched for a moment before I reached for a change of clothes, Kon rambling in the background.
After I hurriedly changed, I went to the living room, expecting to see Keigo or Chad to be waiting for me.
Instead, a redhead was sitting lazily upon the couch.
"Hey, Kurosaki," the Soul Reaper greeted nonchalantly, standing up to address me.
"Off, Kon," I grumbled, lazily pushing him off as I rolled onto my side.
