"Lets see, Ulquiorra. I have to talk to you. I am pregnant." She rehearsed on the way up to the apartment for the 5th time. " I am pregnant..." She mumbled touching her stomach.



She climbed the stairs and finally stopped at her level. She went to her door and opened it with the key. Ulquiorra was still reading the same novel he was when she left. It had been 4 hours and it looked as though he hadn\'t moved. When she hung up her coat he took his glasses off and looked up at her. " So how did it go?" He asked.



"Well,it went ok.I have to talk to you" She walked over to the couch. It was visible how nervous she was. " I..I...I am-"She began to cry again.



Ulquiorra sat up better " What is wrong? Are you really sick?"



"No, no...I am just nervous how you will handle what I am about to tell you." She sniffled.



"Orihime, you can tell me anything."



"​I am pregnant with you." She finally said it.



He looked at her and for the first time he blushed. "You\'re pregnant with me?" He smiled.



She laughed and nodded seeing his reaction. " Your not angry?" She asked.



"Why would I be mad, I am happy?" He questioned pointed at his lips. He was smiling and she knew how confused he got when it came to emotions. " My cheeks are really hot though." He scratched.



"Your blushing." She giggled.



"I am not embarrassed though?" He questioned.



She leaned in and kissed him "Oh my gosh we really need to get you some more books so you can understand our emotions better." She laughed.



"I think I am doing pretty good. Even though I must say that most of those lovey romance books you have handed me are so strange."



"You are doing very good, from someone who couldn\'t even smile." She kissed him again smiling " why were they strange?"



He shook his head in pure confusion " The main girl goes off with her best friends lover and has sex with him and then gets pregnant with her original boyfriend and then kills her self when the other guy breaks up with her." he shook his head again " Just doesn\'t make sense."



"Well...that is kind of dramatic. Some movies and books go over the top with emotions. Tomorrow is Saturday! You want to go to the bookstore with me! There is a big one in the city we can go see."



"A store full of books? They have those?" He asked sounding astonished.



"They have stores for all kinds of things!" She stood up and folded her legs under her sitting in a pretzel shape. She loved talking to him, he was so curious about everything and never was bored with any of the conversations she brought up. Even if it was something about school she didn\'t understand.He had stayed home that day to take care of her but, that was his first day he had missed. Other than that he was doing amazing in school.He caught on quickly,with the traditions of standing and bowing.Taking off your shoes before entering the classroom, lunch times and breaks.He was a fast learner.



"So tonight is a special night you want to eat something special?" She asked eager for his answer.



"If its that Maple Macaroni...I don\'t think that is safe anymore to eat."



"Of course it is!"



"No Orihime. Its not in any of the 8 cook books I have read. There is Macaroni and Cheese and cold pasta salads with the elbow pasta noodles but...no maple syrup is involved with it." ​​he added.Her eyes widened at his words, he was being protective now over the baby. ​" You have to be careful what you eat now, because its not you that is only growing." He nodded.



"You seem well educated about this?"



"All espada know of making there kind continue." He closed his eyes and spoke coldly.



"Oh...I told Grimmjow." She looked away.



He chuckled "What did he say?" He asked.



"A lot of swear words...but overall said that you chose to have sex with me because-



"I love you."



"Ulquiorra!" She blushed "Don\'t say that word lightly."



He took her hands in his own and leaned close to hers, for the fist time his tone went back to being as serious as it used to be" Orihime, you were the only warmth I had in Heuco Mundo. You cried for me, you helped me, you then brought me back and have done so much for me. No words can even closely match this feeling other than Love for you.​" He brought her hands to his lips " I love you, more then anything." He kissed her once more.



"U-Ulquiorra." She whispered listening to every word, it was overwhelming and as intense as when they first kissed. Her heart was pounding and she could feel the blood rushing to her head. " I love you too." She whispered looking into his eyes.



She broke away from him and then finally asked " Come on, what do you want to eat then?"



He finally asked "Can I make something?"



"Sure you can! You have read enough of the cookbooks to understand it I think."She nodded.



He went to the back and grabbed his jacket/hoody and walked back to the living area. " This Sunday Rukia wants you over at Ichigo\'s. She thinks he will wake up around then." He spoke his normal cold tone. But she didn\'t think it was to cold any more, but most other felt it was chilling.



She smiled and asked "Thank you. Do you want me to go with you to the store? Or do you think you have the money ordeal down?" She questioned him.



"Kisuke has lent me some money that he said should last me a month or two. I think I am good. Thank you,Orihime. I will be back in a little." he said leaving her to herself.

The next two days went by fast and Ichigo finally woke up on that Sunday. He acted like it wasn\'t bothering him, but the fact that he lost his powers...was bothering. They all offered there support with him and truthfully didn\'t ask many questions at all. He was surprised to hear that Grimmjow and Ulquiorra were living in the human world. Every once in a while he just zoned out for a moment thinking of things that no one could imagine. But he acted ok, the following Tuesday he attended school and was surprised to see Grimmjow and Ulquiorra for the first time. Grimmjow acted like nothing had happened but Ulquiorra was a different story.



"So you finally woke up eh?" Grimmjow laughed grinning big. He walked at the same speed the other two did.



"Yeah...hi guys?"



"Ichigo how are you feeling?" Orihime asked.



"Kind of dazed? That is about it though. I am doing alright."



Grimmjow\'s eyes fell a bit and he looked at him " I want to talk to you when you get the time?" He said.



"S-sure? As long as you promise not to kill me king?" He chuckled.



"That\'s right!" He cackled.



"Shuudup I whooped your ass, back there." Ichigo laughed.



"You got lucky." Grimmjow growled.



Orihime looked at Ulquiorra whom felt different standing next to her. His face was solid and his eyes sold his emotion pretty well. He was pulling back into his shell. She leaned over to him " You ok?"



"I better get to class. Love you." He kissed her cheek and left her there.



Grimmjow and Ichigo looked at him wide eyed as he walked to class, hands in pocket. There eyes shifted to his body walking away and they looked back at Orihime. " Love you?!" They both spat.



She laughed " Guys stop."



"Wow, mister rock has feelings after all?" Grimmjow laughed.



"He has been doing good!" She pouted.



"Wow, a lot has changed since I have been gone eh?" Ichigo said scratching his head nervously looking at Orihime.



"Only a little Kurosaki-kun." She said blushing.



"Give her a break Ichigo. He has been good to her." Grimmjow assured seriously.



"R-really?" Ichigo laughed in surprise.



The clock chimed and Orihime looked at Ichigo " Oh no! I am going to be late!" She gasped and began to run to class.



Ichigo laughed and waved at her and turned to Grimmjow "So we cool then?"



"Hey anyone who can hand my ass to me in a battle. I have respect for." He spoke and then continued " Doesn\'t mean I don\'t want to kick your ass though."



"What did you want to know." Ichigo looked away.



"Aizen. Is he dead?"



"No, he was sent back to Soul Society in a seal. I don\'t know what they sentenced him though."



"Keh. A seal eh? So you lost your powers?" Grimmjow asked up front.



Ichigo winced at the truth " Yeah I did. We better get to class." He finally said walking away from the conversation.



Grimmjow looked down at him " Don\'t worry I kind of did too." Grimmjow said as well. Ichigo stopped and was surprised to see Grimmjow sympathizing with him "Don\'t worry its just going to be slow you know?" He pointed out.



"You don\'t have to tell me."
