Zanpakuto Angel
A zanpakuto of ancient power, a shinigami with a mission the slaughter of all hollows, and anyone with hollow powers. Ichigo is put to the test, as well as his heart.
Chapter 1 Awakening
Long Ago there was a shinigami who was a rising star among all other shinigami. However he had a problem with hollows. He saw them as creatures of pure darkness and needed to be destroyed. He wanted to lead a group into Las Noches and erase the hollow problem to keep them from evolving and spreading.
He pushed his level of power to the limit and even went as far as fusing his zanpakuto shikai with himself and became something far more dangerous than any Hollow. When Arrancar and Vizard began to appear although incomplete he wasted no time in slaughtering them.
His blade turned on a shinigami for the first time, when the shinigami failed to defeat a hollow which caused the killing of 7 other spirits. This shinigami turned his powers on him and killed him without a thought claiming that being weak enough to allow a hollow to escape was inexcusable.
His action did not go unpunished. It was the head captain who had to take him down. The battle lasted 3 days both heavily wounded. "Why do you turn your blade against me, are you siding with the Hollows?"
"I am not but when a shinigami's blade turns on another it cannot go unpunished, your actions will be stopped here and now."
"You lie you who have faced many hollows now how dangerous they are even allowing one to escape is unforgiveable I will show you I will not allow soul society to become weak, if I must I will make it crumble and I will rebuild it…" The man rushed at Yamamoto.
"I see now that words are useless now, I must protect the soul reapers of soul society." His sword released a massive amount of flames. "Grave of Flames, Inferno Sealing!" Fire consumed the man, his screams filled the battle destroyed land. His body burned but his soul refused to disperse. The flames dove into the ground taking the man with him leaving a scorch mark of an angel.
"I'm sorry Seraphi but for the sake of the future shinigami, and the state of the world you had to be stopped…" The captain left the battle ground and hoped that it was the end of it.
It was not the end. The man known as Seraphi who had fused with his shikai, was waiting and healing. The seal's power was strong keeping him imprisoned, but it was a seal that could be broken when he was at full strength. So he has waited and slept restoring his power building his strength and plotted his revenge.
Years passed…
Hollows began to grow and evolve. Aizen deceived Urahara into using the Hogyoku to save the shinigami and turned them into Vizards. Aizen later steals the Hogyoku and uses it to build an army of Arrancar. Ichigo Kurosaki has gained control of his shinigami powers as well as his hollow powers.
It is when Ulquiorra first comes to speak with Orihime is when things go out of hand. Having the 4th Espada so close to soul society caused Seraphi to awaken. The scorch mark began to burn with a bright light.
'How…How did such a powerful hollow come to be? It is as I feared your lack of action has allowed Hollows to come this far and to attain shinigami powers at such a level, you have failed I will not allow this…' Light appeared and ripped into the sky. Seraphi rose into his sky.
His shinigami robes were pure white mixed with gold trim. His hair was kept in a pony tail that reached his feet, it was pure silver. His emerald green eyes opened in fury. His shikai was in the form of 2 large white wings. So he had the appearance of an angel. His awakening sent tremors not only through Soul Society but Las Noches and the human world. Ulquiorra froze and all the arrancar and shinigami who were fighting froze.
"Unohana quickly warn all the shinigami immediately they must retreat to the human world immediately…" Captain Yamamoto shouted.
In Hueco Mundo
"Starrk go to the human world immediately and retrieve the others we have a major problem, tell them that capture of Orihime and Ichigo must be a priority their powers will be to our advantage…" Aizen snapped, his normal cool smile fallen.
In Karakura Town
Ichigo had dispelled his mask, and everyone was frozen in both shock and deep down fear. "What the hell is that…?"
"Oi Kurosaki what the hell is that…?" Grimmjow shouted. "I don't know Grimmjow this is insane, I've never felt such terrible power…"
The Vizards immediately gathered. "No way he's supposed to be sealed away how could the old man allow that thing to get loose after all the stories and warnings he spoke of…"
