I like this little oneshot. The pairing is sweet, neither one of them being too forthright or overbearing. I have a soft spot for self-discovery themes. That Toshiro was sure no one could melt his cold armour, only to be happily proved wrong.

My only question is regarding the use of the word 'glade'. I feel you use it differently than what I know of it. I tried the dictionary to get 'an open space in a forest'. When I googled 'winter glade', I got images of a forest glade in winter. Perhaps it is a cultural thing?

This was beautifully written. I enjoyed the descriptive writing. I could almost feel winter's breath. Please keep writing. It can only get better.
