I was both sad and impressed with the way you ended this story. I really wanted to see some Kensei and Hisagi lovin, but it made more sense to end it the way you did. I hope you might continue this avenue later. Really good job. I love your work, and look forward to more.

So this was my "morning commute" story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and dammit if I can't help but want to give Shu a big freakin' hug.

I'll be honest, kinda bummed that this was a one-shot only. It left me wanting more, which means you as the writer did an outstanding job of entertaining me. =D Now I'm all interested in the Kensei/Hisagi pairing... hmmm.

I loved it. I really, REALLY loved it. Not in the raving way, but the 'damn, this was a really good and well-written story'-way. It was solid, like it seemed realistic and... grounded. And I love the way you wrote Shuuhei, and the development between him and Kensei was great. Kiba and Renji were great as well. Just generally, ... I really liked it!!
I don't know if it's possible, but a sequel would be endlessly appreciated! Thank you for a really good read. :)
