Awwww ... Chibi Szayel is soooooo cute, can we keep him that way for a while ... Please? And maybe give him a few other accidental chibis to play with? (Grimmjow, Ulquiora, and Nnoitra would be interesting and very distressed candidates ~ of course they'd all probably earn the 'Does NOT Play Well With Others' T-shirt ...

Ok I know that won't happen but it is fun to imagine all the mischief they could get into, especially around their teenage phase ...

As for a little bun for Orahime ... If the major factor of concern is stress then she, Rangeku, and Nemu might all three be pleasantly surprised in the near future ... Not sure how the guys would react though (personally I'd love to see Nnoitra faint at the news ...).

I say that orihime will conceive in three to four months. Idk. I can't wait to read the next update. I am in love with this story.

Wow!! these last few chapters have been amazing! I love the new pairing and can't wait to see more of them I also love Karin and all the relationships she's developing as the story progresses! Your a wonderful and gifted storyteller! and I can't wait until you unravel more of the mystery surrounding Karin blood!

hope hime has already conceived & just doesn't know it yet. it would be sweet if the key to conception was having a real relationship or 'love' between partners (as opposed to stress of being regularly raped by another species--way to make a womb hostile). since ulqui & hime have been mates for a while now, she could be preggers w/o stretching believability. chibi ulqui batboy would be so adorable (maybe w/auburn hair or her normal lips instead of black ones so baby has something of hers).

love how vulnerable pinky is. the friendship w/karen & affection w/ajuga is sweet too. can't imagine what they are gonna make bya do if not mpreg or gender change. look forward to next chap too.

I only just caught up, and I'm just about dying to know what is it about Karin's blood that is so intriguing. I confess that I didn't foresee Karin's ability to cast claims by touch, although you only stopped short of hitting us over the head with the hints. Oh dear.

I wonder how Szayel is going to fare, and I really hope he becomes something like Nel, because the thought of Chibi!Szayel fills me with GLEE.

Yammy seems to care for Byakuya, albeit in some sick, twisted way of his, and it sort of softens me towards him, although not enough for me to not want him dead in the slowest, most brutal way possible. Glad to see that Byakuya still has some fighting spirit in him. I love Byakuya, so I would hate to see him broken. I'm not quite sure what the elders would have spoken to Yammy and Byakuya about, although it apparently involves eggs??

The Tatsuki/Tesra pairing threw me off somewhat, because it does seem rather random, but I would love to see how that plays out, especially since I adore the way you have written Tesra thus far, and I want a happy ending for both him and Tatsuki, and together sounds good. LOL.

To answer a question you posed a few chapters back, my favourite pairings are HitsuKarin and IchiRuki. The former I have shipped since episode 132 of the anime because I think Karin brings his emotions out, and also because I honestly cannot stand Momo in the manga. The only time I probably had any sort of liking for her was in the anime's filler Tales of Zanpakutou arc. And IchiRuki because I think Ichigo needs strong girl how can fend for herself instead of one in constant need of rescue.

I started reading this a few nights ago and finally caught up on all the chapters. To be completely honest, I have yet to completely read through a full story, let alone one 40+ chapters long. This one just caught my attention and managed to hold it. It's definitely an interesting concept, and I like the alternate take on the war outcome, but I'm trying to piece together at which point this story begins to deviate. You mentioned Aizen and his wings, so it was after Gin's attempt to kill him, but it had to have been before his fight with Ichigo because Ichigo is still really powerful.

Anyway, short of that it's pretty easy to follow. Many of the "twists" or surprise things were pretty easy for me to guess, such as Karin being able to "claim" someone. The first time she mentioned being able to infuse her Reiatsu into Objects I suspected she'd be able to do just that.

I'm glad you also take the time to address the small things, such as when she was first learning shunpo, you made it a point to mention that she did infact spend a few additional hours with Nanao to perfect it, despite that being a chapter later. Keeping track of these small points makes all the difference to me with stories.

One thing I'm curious about though is if you will ever make it possible for other Shinigami to "claim" Arrancar also. The only thing that is really different from what Karin can do, and what Shinigami can do, is that she's able to "see" the reiatsu to learn what to do. I don't see why she couldn't just teach the others how to issue a claim.

Anyway, just some things I've been tossing around in my head while reading. It really is a good story though so far, It'll be interesting to see how you end it.

Hello! I usually only check out AFF about once a week, hoping to see if you have updated! I ended up reading chapter 43 the same day you had posted it. I am so used to you only updating about one chapter a week that typically I wouldn't have checked AFF for another week. But for some reason, I came back a few days later and saw that you had updated again! Thanks so much for the note at the top about the quad post, I usually just scroll down to the last chapter and read, I would have been so confused! I was psyched to see that you had posted FOUR chapters together! A HUGE THANK YOU to your AWESOME boyfriend!!!!! Hopefully, he'll convince you to do it again sometime! I actually read this days ago and didn't have time to review, so I wanted to make sure that I came back to review just to say THANK YOU to you and your boyfriend! I really do look forward to reading this story. I have never read anything with Tesra and Tatsuki. And if you had asked me before I read chapter 46 what I thought about them as a couple, I would have said NO WAY! But after reading the way you wrote them, they seem like a great couple. Tesra seems so sweet, and Tatsuki really needs a nice guy. I can't wait to read where this goes. And poor Szayel! I can't believe that I actually feel bad for him! I never cared for his character that much, but I love what you've done with him! I am shocked that you actually have me feeling sympathy for him, and I was relieved when I read that you would not be killing his character off! I can't wait until you post the next chapter! I am just hoping that you still update weekly, you wouldn't make us wait 4 weeks because of the quad post, would you? NO WAY, you're not that cruel, and hopefully your boyfriend wouldn't let you.........

still think power-wise, there's no reason for orihime to not be able to fix szayzel (regardless of panicked chibi-szyazel's statement) if she could revive a dead menoly & re-fill the whole in ichi's chest after 1st fight w/ulqui. can't see what rationale could be used for rejection to fail, though a delay for some reason that lets chibi szayzel have more trials & tribulations could be VERY entertaining! can't wait for the convo w/karen where he's compelled to spill truth.

yes, pairing of tesla/tatsuki in this au sounds great! you've made him such a decent, low key guy, i wanted him to have some happiness too, & of course love tats. she's gonna get her wish from earlier chap, so thx!!!

a post battle ulquihime lemon now that they are together as mates would be great! as much as i love the grimkaren the original set up of fic was ulquihime & am very much missing their storyline. pleeeze add more ulquihime. don't make them background characters.

Okay the whole interaction between Tatsuki and Tesra was way too adorable. And I totally love your boyfriend for convincing you to post all these chapters. I was very happily surprised to see how many were posted.

Actually I was thinking more of Rangiku and Tesla because he's always been so kind to her, it almost seemed like he had a crush on her. Oh, well. As for Byakuya and (ugh) Yammy it better not be some form of male pregnancy because then I would HAVE TO BARF all over my computer and I really don't want to have to do that. Oh, and I don't feel bad about Szayel at all...I say let him get the shit beat out of him and die a very painful, screaming death. Really good chapters, by the way! lol
