I love the story! Ukitake and Kyoraku are such an interesting pair, and I like to see more stories about them. Not that I don't like Ichigo, Orihime, etc., but it's nice to see some other characters get some love!
You also have one of the best OC's I've seen to date. She's real; she has flaws, insecurities, and human tendencies. Most OC's are either MarySues, superhuman, or just plain annoying. But your's is very well-written, and she is an enjoyable addition to the crew.
I can't wait to read more, and look forward to the next chapter.
