I created an account just so that I could review one of your stories. I have yet to finish this particular one and am waiting for you to add more to cradles in the sand, but I love it so far. I skip the M/M scenes and the dark scenes cause I'm not into that and truthfully I almost skim the M/F scenes to get to the Karin/Grimmjow story. I never thought of it but I love the pairing more than Karin/Toshiro. I hope that saying how much I dislike bad ends and how much I like this story says something.

All spare time has gone into reading this for the past several days. And homework time so now I desperately need to study for a test this afternoon. I'm torn between studying and finding part 2. I think finding part 2 will win.

So, I'm finally getting around to reviewing this story, or well I suppose the first half of a very long story. To be perfectly honest with you, this isn't the first time I read some of this. About 3-4 years ago, I stumbled across this story just kind of browsing on fanfiction.net and saw the reference to a more detailed version of the story. The idea, of a KarinxGrimmjow intrigued me, as it was something I had never even considered before, and the story took me from the start. Back then though, I was dealing with personal issues, and had to step away as some parts of the story made me realize just how much I missed my significant other, as I was, and still am, away for college. I'm kind of rambling a bit, I hope that's okay, but apologies either way. Outside of spelling and grammatical errors that plague many writers, i saw few if any flaws in the writing.

The way you wrote this story, honestly spoke to me on a level that I have not felt in my lifetime. It brought memories of my own relationship and rivalries, and left me wanting more. I guess what I'm trying to say, is well done. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every page of this, simply for the amount of emotion you were able to convey simply through words. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story, and you'll hear from me again for sure at the end of Part 2, maybe sooner. Thanks again.

It took me a month to get through this fan fiction and I loved every bit of it. You did a great job of making it believable as if it could really have been a part of the canon. Nice job. Can't wait to check out part 2.

This story was a crazy, torturous ride from begining to end. I haven't read too many stories that kept that sickly feeling in the pit of my stomach, which only represents how well you captured the essence of every day torment these characters had to go through durring their enslavement. The constant raping was a little unnerving. And, Although I did enjoy your more affectionate love scenes and loving scenes, I never got a complete sense that parties involved truely 'loved' eachother wholeheartedly. It felt like the enslaved more or less acquiesced to their predicament and some slipped into more of a Stockholm syndrome of acceptance. Maybe it's the animalistic tendencies of the Espada that made it seem more like they cared for their Claimed more like objects than partners. I know that there are many instances where that is true in the pairings, but I also still feel the most important paired Espada's (e.g. Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Szayel, and even on a smaller level Tesra) 'humanity' has so be flushed out more in order for me to have a more fulfilled feeling about their respective relationships. On the whole, this is a very well written and detailed story. I enjoyed reading this during the last month and have a great understanding of the world you created. Gonna start the second part tonight and hopefully all my little concerns will be satisfied along with some much needed satisfactory reversals of fortunes- Crue, torturous DEATH to Yammi! Relief for Rangiku! Abolishment of Aizen and solace for Gin! Onward!

Ugh, just like a stupid man to not give foreplay. Worst! I've read up to here so far and I usually don't comment on chapters from so long ago, but I just needed to put my two cents in. Can't wait to read the rest, great fic.

Wow. I have never been so happy to stumble across something as I was last week. I was browsing through some art on deviantART when I came across one of blackstorm's illustrations for your fic. I've been on a major GrimmIchi kick lately and thought the idea of Grimmjow with Ichigo's sister was interesting. I've hardly been able to do anything else but read this amazing piece of work since I found it. This was amazingly well done. Major kodos to you and your beta. I can't wait to start to read the second part (although, I may have to wait until after exams lest I be too distracted) to find out what happens next! You've developed so many different characters so well that there were points I would forget there was a main pairing. Superb work and thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece of art with us!

I can tell you actually spent time hashing and rehashing this story. It was a very good read. I never thought I'd ship Grimmjow and Karin, you proved me wrong. Kudos!
