I found Ichi's diary POV to be funny and realistic as hell! Please update soon!

Should you continue? In a word; yes.

This story is reasonably well-characterized, gives plenty of thought and respect to canon and continued character development, and certainly has the potential to go far. Your Ichigo is in good voice and the underlying tone of sardonic humor is well in character. I'd certainly like to see it continued, if only for the amusement of seeing who Ichigo finally decides to talk with about his orientation!

Please continue the story, you have made a good beginning and also managed to pique my curiosity. Plus I hope Urahara will continue to be part of the story.

To start off, yes, I think you should definitely continue. You have begun a very interesting journey here, and I am excited to see where you take it. Apart from a few very minor grammatical errors, it reads very well and flows rather nicely. I can tell from the journal entry you have put a lot of thought into Ichigo's feelings and how the war would have affected his human life. You've really gotten into his mind, and I enjoyed reading it.

The only thing I would suggest changing is one of your warnings. When you warned about switching between first and third person, I cringed. I have seen that done so many times in the past, and it's usually painful; I immediately had flashbacks of stories with "So-and-so's POV" as headers and rough, unpolished transitions that were difficult to follow. But your story is nothing like those. In your story, it makes sense. Journal entries are written first person and the narrative in third person, and the transition between them is very smooth (non-jarring to the reader) and logical. Your warning might scare off potential readers, so you might want to reword it.

I am looking forward to reading more of this, and I hope you do continue it.
