Good chapter. Never thought there would come a day where Shunsui and Grimmjow would be drinking sake together. Though it does make sense since in the manga, it seemed as though Shunsui and Stark would have made really good lazy friends.

Hope there is an update soon. I kind of miss this fic, and the GrimmRuki moments. I really hope there are more moments between Grimmjow and Rukia which focuses once again on their master/slave relationship. I love how how submissive Rukia is when it comes to her master Grimmjow. Makes the crush I have on Rukia grow even bigger. Im so happy once again this is a het fic. Grimmjow is my favorite male character (I often cosplay as him, and my girlfriend cosplays as Rukia whenever we go to anime conventions), And i can never read yaoi fics that feature him in a relationship with another male. I only ship him with Rukia, but since there arent many GrimmRuki fics on this or on fanfiction.net, I usually stick to IchiRuki-HichiRuki fics, if I can't find GrimmRuki fics.

    Please update soon.

Good chapter, it seems as though Rukia and Grimmjow have both found confidantes that they can talk with about their relationship. Rukia has her captain. Grimmjow has a new drinking companin who is familiar with problems that come when one is in a relationship with a female.

I oxides you haven't updated, I hope that changes soon.

I liked this chapter. Rukia finally has found someone who has pretty much told her that it is ok for her to have feelings of love for Grimmjow. I am glad that Ukitake talked with Rukia to give her his support, and let her know that he won't think any less of her because of her relationship with Grimmjow.

I think Ukitake's line of “And you always seem to attract even stranger friends…”, describes Rukia pretty well. Take Ichigo for example, in the manga had Rukia never met him, never transferred her powers to him, if she hadn't convinced him to be a substitute shinigami while she was trying to regain her powers, had never befriended him, and become a close friend of his, the Bleach series would have never had a starting point. If it wasn't for her, Ichigo would have never tried to regained his powers, would have never achieved Bankai, wouldn't have got his hollow because he wanted to save her from execution. Plus there is also her friendship with Renji, she was a good friend to him for all their childhood and their days at the academy, she supported him in his studies until she was adopted by the Kuchiki clan. She befriended Hanataro while she was in prison. Rukia is a person who gets along with people she meets. She and Chad worked together well in the manga when they took on Shrieker when he was after the bird.

I'm hoping if Kubo brings back Grimmjow in the manga, maybe he will have Grimmjow and Rukia working together. I've stated in previous reviews that I have always thought Ichigo and Grimmjow were quite similar. If Rukia can handle Ichigo and his cocky, and impulsive personality, I think she will be able to handle Grimmjow's as well.

I'm quite happy Ukitake is open minded and I'm very happy he told her- “Why would I? Love is love, it doesn’t matter who it is for.” with Ukitake's blessing she can now pursue a relationship with Grimmjow.

I love the scene with Grimm and Shunsui, they have become fast drinking buddies. I was so happy when Shunsui had asked Grimmjow “You aren’t going to give her up are ya?” and Grimmjow responded by telling him- “Nah, she’s grown on me." I'm so very happy to hear that, I know it's not a confession of love (it would be very OOC of Grimmjow), but it's as close to a confession as one would expect of Grimmjow. Thank you for that. I'm also happy that Grimmjow has another person that can lend him their ear so they can listen to what Grimmjow has to say. He needs all the support he can get, especially with Ren plotting against him.

Awesome chapter! Hope for more GrimmRuki moments

I can't tell you how happy I was when I found this fic on this site. I usually read fanfics on fan fiction.net but with all the rumors of the purge of fanfics on that site, I thought I would give this site a shot. I was quite shocked with the many, many Bleach yaoi fanfics on this site. I'm a guy, and I dont like yaoi fics, so I was quite disappointed that there weren't that many heterosexual fics featuring my favorite pairings of IchiRuki, GrimmRuki, HichiRuki, and Aizen/Ruki. I have a major crush on Rukia in the manga, she is my favorite girl in the Bleach manga, yes she is on the petite side, but her witty comments, her intelligence, her natural beauty and her kickass nature is what makes her so special. And I love reading dark fics that feature her with a possessive and strong male.

You made my day with this fic. Grimmjow is my absolute favorite character in the manga, he is just so kickass and awesome. I love his fight scenes in the manga, and I'm very glad you incorporated that into this fic right here. Please continue writing this fic, and I hope to see more GrimmRuki moments.

You write fight scenes very well. This chapter fit very well with the previously written chapters. From the beginning to the end of the chapter, I just couldn't stop reading. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this fic. Chapter 17 and this chapter are two chapters I really enjoyed reading. Byakuya and Grimmjow both acted the way one would expect the two to act. Bykuya was trying to make sure no shame further fell on his clan, and had to make sure that Grimmjow knew that his threat would be enforced if he didn't heed his warning, and Grimmjow acted to make sure no one looked down on him, and made sure to let Byakuya know he wasn't planning to stop seeking Rukia.

you did a remarkable job on this chapter, and once again I hope you update soon.

Exciting chapter! I had been looking forward to the confrontation between Grimmjow and Byakuya. Very nicely done.

Really loved the beginning of the chapter where Grimm and Rukia wake up together. Also loved how he gave her a genuine smile and kissed her on her brow. Such an awesome night that they spent together, only for Byakuya to come and start a fight with Grimmjow. Must have been frightening for Rukia to have Grimmjow clench his fist around her throat, without realizing why until feeling Byakuya's spiritual pressure. She probably hadn't expected him to react violently since they both woke up in pleasant moods and he gave her a smile and kiss. Damn Byakuya, coming and ruining a perfect morning for Grimmjow and Rukia.

Really loved the fight scene between Grimm and Byakuya. When Byakuya stabbed Grimmjow with his Zanpakuto in the chest, it wasn't looking to good for Grimmjow. I'm very happy that Mayuri had included a failsafe in Grimmjow's collar that allowed for Grimmjow to recover his spiritual power if he was ever mortally wounded. Very smart of Mayuri to do that. I guess it did payoff for Grimmjow to allow the mad scientist to run experiments on him. I'm also quite happy that Grimmjow was able to get back Pantera, his Zanpakuto.

I really love how you wrote Grimmjow, Rukia and Byakuya. The three were very much in character. Grimmjow took on a Taicho, quite confident in his power to be able to best him, Rukia was very concerned about her lover, and did her best to try to stop her brother from attacking him, something that reminds me alot of the mangawhen she tried helping Ichigo when Byakuya and Renji came to the human world to take her back to Soul Society. Another thing I love is how she is more worried about Grimmjow getting o murex and trying to stop her brother, than she is about being naked in front of her brother. She doesn't even notice her lack of clothes until her captain puts his Haori on her.

Can't believe the entire estate was destroyed, but it does make sense since both Grimmjow and Byakuya went all out and released their immense spiritual power. I felt for Rukia when Byakuya told her that Grimmjow was gone. She had just gotten him back into her life, only for her brother to nearly kill him. Once again I'm quite happy that Mayuri put in the failsafe, and that Grimmjow was able to get back his spiritual power so he can go into the resurrection state, and heal most of his injuries.

I think Byakuya met his match. It was also nice of Grimmjow to try to make a deal with Byakuya to stop fighting, but I think Grimmjow was doing it more for Rukia and because he cares about her and probably knows that she would be quite sad if her brother was beaten to death. I'm pretty sure Grimmjow would have won had he not stopped to give Byakuya a small rest. I love how Grimmjow points out that had in not been for him protecting Rukia and helping her escape to the human world, Rukia would have probably died in Hueco Mundo. I'm surprised Bykuya didn't point out to Grimmjow that had Grimmjow not taken Rukia to Hueco Mundo in the first place, her life would have never been in danger, but I think that the exhaustion from the battle and his wounds did not allow Byakuya to think about that.

I also love how Grimmjow tells Byakuya no when Byakuya tells Grimmjow to "let Rukia be". Now that he has his little Dorei back, Grimmjow won't be letting her go.

I'm also quite happy that Ukitake and Shunsui were the two captains who came to make sure Grimmjow and Byakuya stopped fighting. I think had it been Soi Fon or Komamura, Grimmjow would have been severely punished for fighting a Captain. I love how in character Shunsui and Ukitake are. I also love Shunsui's response of "Ah the things women get us into" and love how he and Grimmjow both start laughing at that because they both know it to be true. I really love how Grimmjow is willing to take on Byakuya to make sure he is able to keep seeing Rukia. If he didn't care about Rukoa he never would have risked fighting Byakuya. I hope Grimmjow, Shunsui and Ukitake become good friends, because once things get started with Ren and his group of Shinigami, Grimmjow is going to need Captain's on his side vouching for him.

Really awesome chapter. Thank you for the update! Can't wait for the next chapter

Interesting turn of events for Grimmjow and Rukia. When the two come together, they both can be their true selves with the other. Chapter was excellent, well rounded and sort of brings a nostalgic feeling, reminding me of their past interactions. The lemon in the chapter was captivating, erotic and animalistic (which is a perfect description of how Grimmjow is), job well done.

You are an very talented and brilliant author, I look forward to reading future chapters.

Thank you so much for this chapter!!! I had been waiting for the reunion between Grimmjow and Rukia and you did not disappoint. This chapter was very well written, detailed, you did an amazing job of writing the interaction between Grimmjow and Rukia. Though they have been separated for many years, the two fall back easily into the Master/slave relationship they had before, once the two get over their initial shock of seeing each other again.

I'm so happy that it was Rukia whose hesitation was resolved faster, because by her going to him, and kneeling before him and addressing Grimmjow as her master, she in her own way let Grimmjow know how much she missed him and how much she missed being his little pet and how much she missed being at his mercy. Grimmjow hadn't ordered her to kneel before him and address him as her master (Poor Grimm was still in shock at seeing her), she did that on her own accord.

I also liked how she described what Rukia was feeling as she stayed kneeling before her Master and waiting for him and his orders. By describing how just gazing "at the man’s feet as she had often done in the past, and again she felt that rush of excitement. The man had been so volatile, so devious in his actions that each and every time she knelt before him she had gotten butterflies. Her imagination would always run through all the things he had done to her, and then concoct dozens of things more intense and humiliating." By using these words and descriptions, the readers get an idea of just what being before Grimmjow and waiting for him to move does to Rukia. She very much enjoys being in his presence and enjoys what he does to her no matter how humiliating or intense to others it is. Grimmjow and Rukia have the perfect Domination/Submission-Master/Slave relationship going on.

I felt for Rukia when she was afraid that Grimmjow no longer wanted her. After all this years Grimmjow had been in the company of Rangiku, a very beautiful, and voluptuous woman, someone he would get quite a bit of pleasure from, so I can see one of the reasons she was afraid he might leave. "Rukia actually flinched slightly when the Arrancar finally moved, afraid that he was going to hit her…maybe even just walk away. In that one moment all of her fears and insecurities surfaced and she was sure she was no longer good enough for him." Grimmjow was her first, he took her virginity, trained her to be his perfect pet, and brought pleasure upon pleasure upon her. The thought of no longer being good enough for him would indeed be a very terrifying thought for Rukia.

I am quite happy that Grimmjow responded with a strong and forceful kiss. His kiss though unexpected, was a very welcome and pleasurable shock to Rukia. She hadn't expected him to act that way. After all these years, his passionate, forceful kiss allowed her to realize her feelings towards her Master- "No this feeling rising in her stomach wasn’t lust, it was love."

I love the line "The former Espada broke the kiss well after he was out of breath; he simply missed the touch of the girl’s lips to much to give it up." He missed his Dorei just as much as she missed him.

Another thing I like about this chapter is how the two are a little more talkative towards each other, and the playful banter the two engage before they take up their respective roles of Master and Dorei.

"The Arrancar’s grin returned to him, the girl’s voraciousness toward him hadn’t faltered in all of their time apart and that was something he was grateful for." Grimmjow trained his pet very well, to the point where his lessons would be ingrained in her mind, body and soul and would never fade no matter how long the two had been separated. Its like what Grimmjow had told her in the third chapter after he had put his mark on her cheek and the piercings on her body “Only I can grant you your release…”. I doubt anyone can bring out the real Rukia and make her feel what Grimmjow feels, Grimmjow is the only one who can do so.

I really love Rukia's line of “I am a slut because my master wishes me to be.” She stated plainly as if it had been as such all that time." She had stated that line as a fact not an opinion, something she herself feels will never change as long as her master still wants her and bids her to come to him to bring him pleasure and obey his commands. She stated that line as if being her a slut because her master commands it, is her one and only purpose in the her life, and has no other reason for being, but to be her master's slut.

Another thing I loved about this chapter was "Grimmjow smiled, it was warm and loving, he had his little Dorei back and he was only just realizing how much he had missed her. This was, even as small a gesture as it was, the last visible expression of love the girl would see and they both knew it…and they were both okay with that." Grimmjow is not one for lovey dovey sentiments, and that is something that Rukia understands quite well. With Rukia, Grimmjow doesn't have to worry about having to say the words about how much he cares for her. The attention he gives to her body and the release he brings forth from her body is proof enough of that Grimmjow feels she is worthy of his attention. He wouldn't bother with her if he didn't feel something for her nor would he bother with her if she wasn't able to bring pleasure to his body. His smile, which was "warm and loving", was a reward to her for not forgetting who her master was after all these years.

I loved how creative Grimmjow is and how he was able to immobolize her arms by making bindings out of her kimono. I also love how he tells her "Good girl" once he see how wet she becomes by his rough handling and telling her to "Stay". Just like Grimm is the perfect Dom, Rukia is the perfect sub, which is evident when he tells her to beg him and she asks her master to allow her to cum.

Another of my favorite lines- “Lost some of your flexibility hmm?” he asked playfully.
Rukia did her best to catch her breath and gave the man a small smile, “Master wasn’t here to use me properly…I am out of practice.” She replied seductively, still clearly interested in more." Really awesome writing.

"With his cock lodged as deep as he could get inside her he roughly pushed forward with each spasm of his cock as it filled her depth with his seed." A line that almost made me get a nosebleed. The idea of Rukia getting pregnant by Grimmjow popped into my head, but if that were ever to happen, not only would Byakuya try to kill Grimmjow, but I think Renji and Ichigo would be out for Grimm's blood as well. Grimm doesn't need anymore enemies at the moment, he has enough with Ren and his group of Shinigami's.

I really like how Rukia thanks Grimmjow, it had been quite awhile since the last time he touched her, and I doubt she had let another man touch her during her Master's absence. I also like how "Grimmjow wrapped his arms around the girl protectively, which instantly had Rukia Blushing. He had done this very thing in his sleep many a time to her, his animal instincts always wishing to establish ownership over her even when she was already his to have." He is a very good master to Rukia, and I love how you describe Grimm's animalistic side.

This was a very hot, and steamy chapter. Thank you once again for writing this, and thank you for making this chapter about Grimmjow and Rukia. You really made my day with this chapter.

I can't wait for the next chapter to see what Kataki has up his sleeve, and the consequences of Kataki's actions by leading Grimmjow to the Kuchiki mansion. I want to say that he led him there because he expected somthing like what happened to happen, and was waiting until Grimmjow and Rukia were exhausted and asleep after their reunion to tell Byakuya that Grimm is with Rukia, so that Byakuya would rain hell on Grimmjow.

Enjoyable fic. One of the few heterosexual fics on this site that features Grimmjow, for which I am glad, (not that there is anything wrong with yaoi, I just prefer reading m/f fics).

Grimmjow is very much in character since the beginning of this fic. He beats Ichigo till he is bloody, and takes it upon himself to rape Rukia in front of Ichigo because he knows that it will kill Ichigo more seeing someone he cares about deeply being defiled by his enemy and not being able to do a thing about it. Grimmjow is sadistic that way.

I don't really see this as a Houdini Karma fic, as was mentioned in one of the reviews for this fic. He doesn't go with out punishment for his actions towards Rukia. He is in jail for, I believe, about a hundred years with no contact with the outside other than Toshiro and Matsumoto, plus he was hurt quite badly by Ichigo, when Rukia, Inoue and Grimmjow went through the gate back to the human world. Plus he is a test subject for the 12th divisions captain, that in itself is a punishment, I doubt anybody wants to have to deal with that crazy scientist.

Though he is sadistic, he is not evil in the way the other Espada or Aizen and Gin are: he saved Rukia from Nnoitra when Nnoitra was sexually abusing Rukia (yes in his first encounter with Rukia he did rape her, but she was his enemy, and he had to figure out a way to get under Ichigo's skin, plus the rest of his encounters with Rukia, she willingly went along with and got much pleasure from), he did save Rukia and Inoue from Aizen and took them back to the human world. Grimmjow gave Soul Society important information to help defeat Aizen and his Espada, and he did kill Gin before he made his Escape with Rukia and Inoue.

Grimmjow takes the punishment Soul Society has handed to him and deals with it like a man. Yes he raped the Shinigami that came to drink with Matsumoto, but that Shinigami deserved it. She and her friend came there to drug and make Grimmjow pass out, while they would give Matsumoto a drug so that they can get information out of her to see what info she could give about Grimmjow's weaknesses. The two female shinigami, Bikou and Ishi were the stupid ones who underestimated Grimmjow and overestimated their own powers, and Grimmjow put them down like the female dogs they are. The Bikou had it coming, though I do wish Grimmjow would have just beaten her rather than let her see how good he is.

Though he has seemed to calm down a little, he doesn't treat Rangiku the way he has treated Rukia or the other shinigami woman he raped, he is still the same awesome badass Arrancar that he is, for which I am very greatful to the author.

This is quite an interesting fic, and I do hope the author continues this fic. I haven't been on this site in a long time due to seeing mostly yaoi fics, and have never left a review before, but I am glad I came across this and will be checking more often to see if this fic becomes updated.

    Thanks for the quick update!

Love the banter between Rangiku, Toshiro and Grimmjow. Love Toshiro's response about his eye twitching- “I don’t like it that’s why my eye keeps twitching!” For some reason I can see a scene like that happening in the manga.

I also love how whatever plans Ren's group of Shinigami come up with, the plans always end with Grimmjow on top. But it does seem that Ren knows something happened between Grimm and Bikou, the way his gaze lingered on her after she gave her report.

Kataki's plan seems to be the one that is going to work. Since he is in the sixth division and knows how his captain is, he knows what Byakuya will do if he finds out Grimjow ignored his warning and went to go visit his sister.

I think Grimmjow is the only one in Soul Society who does not fear Mayuri, willing to go along and be a subject for Mayuri's experiments.

Kataki didn't expect Grimmjow to ask him to him. I bet Kagai is going to be quite pissed that Kataki was able to hit Grimmjow without repercussions.

I'm so excited about the next chapter . Yay!!! Grimmjow and Rukia finally face to face. Can't wait!! Thanks for a great chapter.

Wow, you update quite fast, something I very much appreciate since I am a huge fan of this story. Such a huge fan that I decided to register on this site. I'm the formerly anonymous reviewer known as Megan.

Quite an interesting chapter, since we the readers, get to see two more players who are plotting against Grimmjow. I'm a bit on the fence about this chapter (in a good way, not a bad way). I'm not a fan of OC's, and I guess maybe that's why Bikou and Ishi rubbed me the wrong way, (though I'm pretty sure thats why you wrote them that way, they are characters that can be beaten, abused/killed off and the readers won't care). Also I think another reason I don't like Bikou, is because she gets Grimmjow's "attention". I was hoping Rangiku would wake up and beat her to a pulp.

This was quite a hot chapter (though I do wish he had been with Rukia instead of Bikou, but it is your story, and you know how the plot is going to unfold). I love the way you write Grimmjow and I love to see that he is still sadistic and animalistic at heart. I'm glad Grimm was able to "turn the tables" on Bikou and Ishi, and that they weren't able to get any info from him and Ran.

Interesting chapter, and I'm quite happy that you haven't forgotten about Rukia and plan on explaining what has happened to her while she has been away from Grimmjow. I can't wait for her to reappear, and I'll do my best to be patient.

Also about your offer to reviewers, can you perhaps write a sidestory/oneshot/companion piece to this fic, about another encounter/lemon in Hueco Mundo between Grimm and Rukia.

    Chapter 14 review

    Another great chapter.

I find it funny how easily the Sixth espada is kidnapped by Rangiku. Grimmjow does seem like the type to get bored easily, especially living in Soul Society which is boring when one compares it to the anarchy of Hueco Mundo. I love the line "Of course…peace had never really been much of a goal for the Espada, he was of course the embodiment of destruction and such a calm lifestyle was boring.", it fits him perfectly.

I also love the nickname Yachiru gives him "Holey"; he should be happy she hasn't seen him in his Resurrection form or she would be calling him kitten or kitty. I love how hard he laughs when he hears Yachiru's name for Rangiku, its good he has had a chance to come into contact with someone other than Toshiro and Ran.

Also glad to see him meet Kenpachi, the two would make good sparring buddies. Also, I bet Grimm is happy to meet the man who killed Nnoitra. I very much loathe Nnoitra for what he did to Rukia in earlier chapters of this fic. I was so happy when Grimm came and was able to stop Nnoitra's assault on Rukia.

It is a bit funny/weird to read how different Grimmjow is with Rangiku when he has sex with her, in comparison to the times he has had sex with Rukia. With Rukia, he was dominant, he let her know that he was her master and she was his toy/sex slave, while with Rangiku he seems to be making love with her, something I had never thought Grimmjow would do with someone. "Their motions remained steady and constant for the majority of their lovemaking, only slightly increasing near the climax, which was a thing of excessive pleasure. They sat for some time afterward, the Arrancars arms around the Shinigami in a loving embrace if one was ever seen." The sentences I quoted kind of shocked me when I read them, because he was always so rough with Rukia, though he is more gentle with Rangiku. It is like he is a completely different individual from the individual the readers came across in the first few chapters, which is in a way understandable since many, many years have passed, and Grimmjow has changed over the years. Though I do like the change in Grimmjow, I loved it when he was rough and dominant with Rukia.

I really loved the scene when Grimm was fighting the man from the 11th division, though Grimmjow has changed somewhat, he still has his temper when it comes to fighting, as well as his wit. I loved his response to the man he was fighting “That’s what they were meant as idiot.”, when the man told him his words were fighting words.

Though Rukia hadn't been mentioned in Grimm's pov for a while, I was happy to see when Grimm got angry when the man he was fighting stated “I’m sure that bitch from tenth division will mourn you, hell maybe that slut you raped will too.” I knew Grimm would be protective of Ran being called a bitch, but i was surprised to see him get mad at Rukia being referred to as a slut. The 11th man's words did confirm to me that many in Soul Society might see Rukia as a slut. I really enjoyed the fight between Grimmjow and the man, and I'm glad to see Grimmjow was able to deal him some serious blows before Ran came to break it up.

I do believe this is the first time, Ran has seen firsthand just how powerful and destructive Grimmjow is when facing any opponent that comes against him. Though I understand Toshiro's and Rangiku's concern, I really wish they would see things from his perspective and realize he was just defending himself. Had he not defendend himself, the man from the 11th would have probably killed him. Glad to see that Kenpachi was there to smoothen things out.

I'm glad Ran was able to tell Grimm that there were people in Soul Society who would miss him if he were to die. I'm glad she mentioned Rukia, and let him know Rukia would indeed miss him if he were to die. And I'm also glad to see that Grimmjow thinks of her quite often. "It wasn’t that he didn’t wonder…he thought about her quite often actually, but she was out of his reach. Besides, she wasn’t some toddler with no strength of her own, she could have slipped out and seen him whenever she wanted." I always hoped Rukia would go looking for Grimmjow, just to see how he was doing or just to see him, but I think she has stayed away from him so that Byakuya doesn't carry out his threat and harm Grimmjow. He states that "she was out of his reach" making it seem as though he still wants to see her, after I read that I began to wonder what would have developed between the two had Byakuya allowed them to come into contact with one another. I do think Rukia did indeed want to see him, but couldn't for Grimm's safety. Byakuya probably has guards watching her 24/7 when he can't watch over her.

I really do hope Rukia makes an appearance soon. It makes me wonder what the two would say to each other if they ever came face to face again. I also would like to know what has been going with her and whether or not she has kindled a relationship with someone or if whether the Kuchiki clan forced her into a loveless marriage. I wonder if Grimmjow would still think of her as his dorei, since he did not like Nnoitra touching what he considered his.

I liked this chapter and I'm glad you updated. I look forward to the next chapter. Thanks again for such a good chapter.

Thank you for updating!!! It really means alot. This is my favorite fanfic on this site, and pretty much the only reason I keep checking on aff to see if it has been updated.

This chapter was very interesting. I knew many shinigami in Soul Society would not be very welcoming of the Arrancar who know lives in SS, and I'm glad that some of the players who will be taking on Grimmjow have made themselves known. I really wished Ran would have allowed Grimm to beat Ren, but I know she was looking out for him. Glad to see she is keeping her promise to Rukia of looking out for him.

Really liked how Toshiro and Grimmjow are getting along, they remind me of brothers who love to bug and annoy each other.

Though I'm happy that things are going well with Rangiku and Grimmjow, and that Ran has been able to watch and care for Grimmjow during his imprisonment, I can't help but feel that Rukia has gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to Grimmjow. She has had to deal with the different sides of Grimmjow when she was held captive, something that was not easy for her. Though he may not love her, I'm thinking that the reason that Grimmjow changed sides has a little to do with her. I know she is not the reason he decided to defy Aizen, because even in the manga, Grimmjow doesn't really like Aizen, but I do think her kindness to him when she was cleaning his wounds after his fight with Nnoitra, let him see that not all Shinigami hate hollows, and that Shinigami don't have to be his enemy. If he had never raped her and took her back to Hueco Mundo as his "toy", I doubt he would be in SS. Plus Rukia has to deal with the stigma of being raped by an Arrancar, branded by said Arrancar and carrying a voluntary sexual relationship with her rapist, something I think the Kuchiki clan and the rest of the nobles would not stand for. I think if it wasn't for Byakuya looking out for his sister, the Kuchiki clan would have kicked her out of the clan. I'm sure Byakuya was quite angry when he heard Rukia's testimony saying that Grimmjow had only raped her one time, and the rest of the times, she was willing to be used by Grimmjow, and I think that may be one of the reasons he won't let her leave the Kuchiki grounds. It makes me think that though he is making sure Rukia does not have contact with Grimmjow, he is also in a way protecting her from any harsh punishments from the clan.

When I was reading about Ren and his associates talking about how to best get rid of Grimmjow, I began thinking that maybe the Kuchiki clan may be behind it. The Kuchiki clan would not be happy that someone with their name had been raped by an arrancar, and in turned tarnished the Kuchiki name and maybe even hired Ren and his associates to get rid of Grimmjow, because as long as Grimmjow is around, the citizens of Soul Society would remember that Kuchiki Rukia was raped by Grimm. It just a theory I have, I'm probably wrong.

I was glad to see in your author's note at the bottom of the chapter, that Rukia is not out of the picture and in fact has a major part to play. I'm also quite happy to see that Rukia is still someone who Grimmjow holds close to his heart.

Again, this was a really great chapter. You really made my day. Thank You for the update.

Please, please please update!!!! I read the entire 12 chapters in one sitting, and I just can't get enough. Please add more grimm/rukia. The fact that Grimmjow defended Rukai from Nnoitra made my heart so happy. Also Rukia trying to tend to Grimmjow's injuries after the fight between him and Nnoitra was really sweet. Also her cleaning his cheek despite the hostility in his eyes, i dont know why but I liked that part. And he always seems to show Rukia his a little bit of his gentle side, even though his gentle actions are usually small in comparison to his dominant actions, such as in chapter 4-"Grimmjows hands wrapped around her fists, and embraced them softly", or when he massaged her neck gently after he marked her. I know you said he is not in love with her, but she did convince him to go to the human world and then to soul society, after he helped them escape. And Rukia seems to understand him a bit better than the others. For example in ch. 7- "Rukia smirked, for a raving psychopath near death in the middle of betraying his own creator…he was pretty funny when you got to know him". In the manga, I always felt that though Grimmjow was psychotic/sadistic( he stabbed Rukia through the stomach because he wanted to fight someone strong), he was not evil in the way Aizen was evil. He had Inoue heal Ichigo and saved Inoue from those other jealous girls. And I think you showed a side of that Grimmjow when he helped Rukia and Inoue escape. Sure he is still psychotic but he does do good sometimes.
Then him asking Rukia if she had gotten fat and stating he didn't remember her being so heavy, had me laughing quite a bit. For some reason what he said reminded me of ichigo.

Despite what Grimmjow had done to Rukia she does have feeling for him, in chap 7 after Ichigo stabbed Grimmjow, she stated that"she couldn’t hide her feelings toward Grimmjow." And her testimony did help him not get executed. In ch. 9 he stated "he really did enjoy Rukia as person and new his stay here would be a little darker without her."

I don't know why but I prefer Rukia/Grimm rather than Ran/Grimm. I think it may be because Rukia saw both the good and bad sides to Grimmjow while Rangiku only saw the side of him after he betrayed Aizen and started helping Soul Society by giving them information. He would have been put to death if Rukia hadn't provided her testimony, and say that she had been only raped once. Also if she hadn't convinced him to help carry Inoue he probably would have died in Huerco Mundo.

Sorry for the long review but I had to get 12 chapters worth of reviews in one review. I really like the story. I found it well written. This has got to be one of my fav. stories on here. So please update!!! I would be eternally grateful.
