just wanted to clear up a few things on ch 4's rant at the end.
"I'm supremely troubled by everyone referring to Ichigo as "Strawberry" and this is only a personal pet peeve. ichigo does indeed mean strawberry, but Ichigo's name in Bleach is written with the kanji for ichi (one) and go (five) making it either fifteen or one-five, however you look at it. It's like Death Note; Light's name is written with the kanji for moon (tsuki) but it's pronounced "Light", and nobody calls him 'moonboy' in fanfics. :/"

yes, typically ichigo means "strawberry" and i've never, personally, caught anyone calling him (*snicker* her) that... but maybe thats just me ^^
with the kanji (ill trust you on the actual kanji, for i'm too lazy to look it up) if it was "ichi" (one) and "go" (five) it wouldnt be fifteen. fifteen is "juu-go" which, literally, means "ten-five". the jap way of counting is odd, and has to do with vague ideas...
for example "259" in english would be "two-hundred-fifty-nine. its kinda like that in japanese "ni-hyaku-go-juu-kyuu" (2-100-5-10-9)
the kanji are different (like the kanji for 10 and the kanji for 1) so it would mean different things. anyways... 15 and one-five isnt the same thing in japanese like it is in english.
and the second part... the whole "light" thing... I personally /hate/ that fans call him his english name, which is light. his japanese name is pronounced "Raito" which, when spelled in /Katakana/ means light. but Raito is a Japan native, so his name would be written in Kanji or /hiragana/ which is a TOTALLY different writing system than katakana.

Sorry for the uber-long, rant-like review haha. the story seems pretty crack-tastic, and ill definatily have to finish reading it!!

(15) "We've been together for centuries," Yoruichi said lightly, her smile somehow getting even wider. "It was the natural next step." Love that line because of course it takes centuries to figure out how you feel, if that's the case I can't help but wonder how us mere mortals do it *snicker*
Shiro kissed Shinji *giggles* it's nice to see Shinji knocked a little off balance after all the teasing and tormenting of Ishida and Ichigo he did :) Sorry it took a little longer to review but it's starting to get ridiculously busy here with christmas fast approaching, plus we're getting winter storms that tend to knock out power or internet but all is calm so I can catch up-now off to the other update I noticed from you :)

Yay!!!!!!!! I was wondering how Ichi was going to get Shirosaki back. And this worked out perfectly! Oh and the Shiro coming back to kiss Shinji was so funny! I love him.^^
Oh!!! My poor Yami-sensei is tired... You must sleep!!! Sleep sensei. I dont want you to burn yourself out.

Really quick review, gotta be up in 5 and a half hours oops XD

I'm back online yay!! My internet died so I've only just managed to catch up on this and I can't believe I was missing this. It's so good.
Ichigo having a period lmao. I read th line where she told Ishida to not touch her and I was in fits of laughter 'cos I just knew what was coming.
I can't believe you don't plan this, it flows really well.

Oh and I loved Renji's warning for Ishida, that was so sweet.

Ok really need sleep bye for now ;-)

OMG!!! I so so so so so so so so so so so sooooooooooooooooooooooo Sorry that I missed reviewing for like the last 4 or 5 chapters. And as being your biggest fan i should have no excuse, but i got sick... dun Dun DUN!!! I hate getting sick because I dont get sick that often when i do, I feel like Im dying. So I had a fever AND was still working my ass off making it worse. But my fever's gone and I had a couple days off.

Now on to my praise. So the lose of Ichi's reitsu was unexpected and amazing! The plot is jus getting more intense and I NEED more. I believe I've become something like a crack addict to this fic or something. And know that when i say i hate you and feel the need to throw my laptop at the wall its really me showing my love. ^^ Now I know I sound like a little crazy... XDD But i love the building IshiIchi and the fact he got a period! A lot of noobie authors forget little details like that. I bow down to kiss your feet, because I dont think it ever crossed my mind. lol. I just love your plot bunnies!!! *kisses bunnies*

Wow this looks to be a super long review... So not like me. lol. But thanks for checking out my fic. *blushes* Your reviews were awesome I wrote a another paragraph before dragging my sick ass into work. OH!!! Before I forget. Your are a great author and you better take my praise and continue to be modest about it... there's my piece.

(14) I also don't watch much tv myself but I'm also partial to crime and I admit to liking shows like Criminal Minds and CSI NY (and csi miami, don't laugh). I can't believe your one of those that watch reality shows, I've never really been able to get into them although I have seen the odd routine of So You Think You Can Dance when I'm flipping around during commercials. At least with something like that you have to have some semblance of talent to compete and the routines I have seen have been good. A friend of mine who loves shows like that has said that's her favourite because they're so talented, especially the canadian one (which i am) I think she may be biased though ;)
Now after all that I actually think that I've forgotten what I wanted to say about the actual story after typing all that in response to your notes :) This chapter definitely had a touch of the Murphy's Law because you couldn't just make Ichigo a girl you also had to throw in the whole period thing, poor guy he's just too fun to torture XD And Urahara, your right about him being a more act now explain later but I find it hilarious that after at least a hundred years he's just hit with this idea of marrying Yorichi. It's like it all of a sudden hit him, why aren't we together ^_^
One last thing you said your up to 22 in the manga I'm assuming you mean volume number right because I read the chapters online and it's like 338, sorry it's not so important just something that caught my attention and got me wondering. As you can see I totally understand the whole 'you're fun to talk to thing' once you start it becomes hard to stop, you should see my emails they end up looking like a thesis :) I'll be happily waiting for the next chapter :D

I think you do wonderful work and have truly enjoyed everything you've written that I've read. I do agree that Ichigo tries to be the protector of all and that he needs someone to defend him as well. I also agree with your perspective of Ishida in that role. If you feel like it needs to go thirty chapters then by all means write it that way. Don't cut things short just because of what you think others want. This is beautifully done all the way around from the characterizations to the interactions with others. I'll stop babbling now. Thoroughly enjoying this as always.

(13) I'm beginning to think that you secretly enjoy torturing Ichigo, he's safe, he's not safe, he'll be fine, he almost dies-honestly girl this is almost abuse! And while it amuses me that Ichigo isn't quite acting like himself, in the end I think I like him better the way he normally is :)
You know when Urahara finally took action my first thought was that it seemed very rude to just fling someone's soul from their body and my second thought was that I can't help but get a little angry with Urahara every time Mayuri does something since he's the reason that Mayuri's on the lose in the first place (hopefully you read the manga and know what i mean).
Anywho I think that's about it for tonight, it was quite a surprise to see so many chapters, definitely made me happy to get to read so much as once ^_^

Interesting to see Ichigo and Uryuu getting closer. I can see him wanting to protect Ichigo no matter what. Very interested to see how this plays out. No idea what the tower itself is called. Sorry, no help there.

(10) So you're the reason my characters die in series, well now we know who to blame ;) I know how you feel though because it seems more often than not if I start to watch a new tv show it'll get cancelled, it's Anise's Law XD
As for the story, I loved the little scene of Ichigo and Ishida sitting on the porch, the one that started with Ichigo calling him Uryuu. I admit to liking descriptive writing like that especially when it's not over done and this worked perfectly to create the right atmosphere without going on and on with stuff you really don't need. Of course Urahara just has to come along and ruin the mood, I'm beginning to think that's his soul purpose with almost any story I read with him in it ^_^ Also I had to laugh that Ichigo's sword has to be the one to point out someone likes him, it's just a smidge sad really-teenage boys can be so oblivious sometimes.
Another interesting chapter and a nice twist with Ichigo being dragged back to SS, can't wait to see what you and your muse come up with next! :)

(9) I loved Shiro in this and oddly enough I don't feel all that sorry for Shinji, he's just so much fun to play with ;) I'm glad you found a way to get Ichigo out of SS but that does raise the question of whether the damage that was done to him is reversed now or is it more that the process stalled where it was? Of course I could just be getting slightly ahead of you and that's what we're going to eventually find out in the story and I just need to learn the art of patience, that's not going to be easy ;)
This was a great chapter I really liked it, especially the ending and I can't wait for the next update! ^_^

Priceless, that had to be my fav scene (the hallway) I could just see it and I was cheering Shiro on XD

I couldn't stop laughing when you mentioned 'the look'! Urahara's parental look was described so well. I use that look with the kids at school but mine usually translates as 'I-know-you're-up-to-something-and-when-I-find-out-someones-in-detention!'

I swear this story just gets better and better XD More please :)

Another great chapter!!! A short one but it doesnt matter because you update daily. So ish all cools. ^^ lol Again, Im going to say how much i love the plot. Ish teh awesomest(i dont think thats a word). And if you're tired of my continous praise get over it. ^^

Oh the Shirosaki|Shinji scene had me worried for a second. I was thinking that Shiro was going to run amuck. It woulda been funny though. And poor poor perverted Shinji. I cant wait for more. ^^ Can I be your biggest fan?
