Don't get me wrong, this was beautifully written and it was just great...

But did the reveal really have to come from the most sympathetic characters?

I mean it doesn't really show the real horror of the situation.

It seems like the characters take claiming as just a fact that should be avoided but isn't really evil. I think it would be a bit more of a sting if Diaemus or Ajuga found an NPC being treated the way Orihime was and finding out Ulquiorra not only won't stop it but he treated Orihime that way for years.

Sorry if it's a dumb suggestion I just think their view of it (even with this reveal) is still too close to the rose tinted side because it was all consensual (as consensual as they could be in that situation) and there was no real violence in it.

I loved the triple updates!!! Each chapter was totally awesome!!! I look forward to seeing what happens with Tatsuki and Ran's pregnacies. I can't wait to see the new babies and Soi Fon's child too. Is Ran having twin boys or girls or one of both?

@Ch 22-25: Wow, first the bombshell that Halibell is pregnant with Toshiro's child! My god, given the strength of it's parent, that little bundle of theirs is going to have a powerful elemental-based fighter (not to mention, it'll be highly intelligent). But wait, if that wasn't enough, we have Tatsuki and Rangiku's synchronized pregnancies! Damn, I have to give props to Tesra for the impressive diligence of his "swimmers", persistence and hard work must be in his genes! AND, to think that Rangiku is pregnant with TWINS! I own finches, and one of my male Zebra Finch (Ron) sired five boys (in two successive clutches of 2 & 3!), and I'm still impressed! And pore Rangiku, she's so scared that she goes into a major panic attack, to the extent that Nnoitra looses his shit over the bad vibes he's getting through the claim.

It's also interesting to take note of the change in Nnoitra. I hadn't really noticed it until the most recent chapter, but he's changed a lot- from the sadistic bastard we first met, to what I'd almost call a "decent" person. Sure, he's still a sexist ass, but no where near as bad as when we first saw him in the story. For all his talk of "dominance" and "ownership" of Rangiku, it seems that he's become addicted to the huge turn on that comes from experiencing unfiltered feelings of genuine happiness and joy from her through the claim. While it's not love, the fact that- by his own admission- he would do anything to keep her happy (even if he has a vested interest) says something. He clearly doesn't get off on hurting her, and the one time we see him hurt her during sex, he later apologizes- accepts that he was wrong and she didn't deserve it. It could be argued that he also may be upset with himself for loosing control of acting out of anger, thus proving that he still hasn't overcome the "weakness" Nelliel saw in him.

We have to realize that his sexist views and overcompensating (for feelings of inferiority) are not 100% his fault. Remember, his base form is that of a Praying Mantis- where the male's only function to mate with a female, who THEN EATS HIM! And yet, for having once had such a major "hate-on" for women in general, he asserts his masculinity over Ran by making her climax (sometimes to the point of exhaustion!) while having sex with her. And while he's freaked out by the thought of having kids- he's no unwilling to take on the responsibility. Given the fact that 5 of the 8 Espada's have expressed contempt/doubt in Aizen, it looks circumstances are moving Nnoitra to the position of reluctant good guy.

As to your closing Question/Comments: I, like a lot of people, have fallen out of love with the series. Not ending Bleach after the Winter War has proven to be the worst choice Kubo could have made- the stories are weaker, the characters are simply going through the motions, and the series is only continuing because it remains a moddest cashcow (though it's fallen behind Narutor & OnePiece). Kubo has reportedly become hostile- both on line and at live events- towards fans for criticizing him. And if your closing comment is true, then he's pretty much giving a huge middle finger to everyone who ever read or still reads the manga.

You know have me rooting for twin girls just to have a pack of girls for Nnorita to deal with.
And wondering if twins are more common in insect base Espa then in others.
Szyael has twins and now Nnorita.
    Butterfly, Mantis.. it is linkedd

    chapter 25:

    -Slow clap-

Alright...Alright ya got me, despite my 2 previous reviews going into detail of my distaste for the one eyed douchenozzle, I will swallow my pride and admit that I quite enjoyed this Nnoitora centric chapter. He is an amusing drunk and I lol'd at quite a few parts during his drunken ramblings. It's also nice to get into the heads of these characters and see what makes them tick. And I will even concede that yes, he is a product of Heuco Mundo and while by no means do I like him after this chapt(Grrhatehimstill)or think his actions are excused, I understand him more. Still want to see him get stomped but I get why he is the way he is. He is unapologetic because the kind of attitude he displays was very commonplace in Heuco Mundo and he doesn't see it as wrong despite the change in location.

I liked his thoughts about Nel and something that really stuck with me from the anime/manga and it's something that people forget sometimes that beyond once being a willing member of Aizen's army and technically a bad guy for a time, Nel was also a very "smug super"(tv tropes). She was kinder about it but was arrogant and openly looked down on Nnoitora and did not treat him like a warrior deserving of the rank of Espada and even took steps to essentially babysit him which for a guy with his already massive inferiority complex must have been murder.

Grandpa...yikes that would push anyone into drinking over their limit.

Have already stocked up on some tissue in anticipation of the tearjerker next chapter is bound to be, poor Hana but we all have to grow up sometime and see the world for what it is.

This Weeks Question: I figure the fights are gonna run on the basic formula of good guys getting stomped until at the last moment help arrives to turn the tide. My guess is that Kisuke along with his Arrancar allies, the Vaizards and Xcution make the save and are wrecking the bad guys until Yhwach decides to get serious and enter the fray and then Ichigo FINNALY makes his appearance and is now able to use his full power without any hindrance. Although I would love to see an adult form Nel,Grimmjow and a freed Harribel enter the battle and tear apart some Stern Ritter. Harribel in particular would be looking for payback considering the humiliation that was dealt to her. Although Kubo does not have the best track record of letting his females cut loose without any aid from a man I would love for him to give Harribel her moment in the sun. The way he ended her fight in the karakura town battles was bull. She was the last Espada standing and was fighting with not only a powerful Captain class shinigami but two LT class Vaizards and holding her own before Aizen attacked her. the fact that it took Yhwach himself to take her out and imprison her says much about her.

-waits patiently for the next chapter-

    Chapter 24:

...............Well....so Nnoitora is going to be a daddy.....hmmm.. hehe well ain't that just swe..... hold up the abusive, murdering(yes I still recall the people he killed for his current "den"), misogynist son of a whore is going to be a DAD?!?!?!?!?!?

-releases a howl akin to a dying Cheetah-

-runs outside and bicycle kicks an elderly women-

-runs back inside and starts chewing on keyboard-

inhale-exhale......okay I'm back and now on to the true review for this magnificent chap........no,nonononono, the one asshole beyond Yammy, Aizen and a few others who I prayed would not get a kid, got one? Okay I will admit Tesra is living proof that he does not pass on his darker habits and personality on to his charges and having a legit child of his own blood might mellow him out but damn it to all hell I sooooo wanted to see him die at some point and now I will feel bad about it because of the kid lol. I understood Ulq getting his somewhat redemption moments and getting humanized by his softer scenes with Orihime and his son but this dick cheese is an unapologetic abuser who needs another ass beating from Karin to humble him.

Okay okay for real this time, actual review:

Well after 15 years of near constant coitus I suppose it was bound to happen and I adored the many different emotions you had Rangiku go through, a low key 5 stage of denial kind of moment. Although her knee jerk reaction to what Nnoitora would do when he found out she was pregnant was really sad. This first thing she expects is pain and that right there shows you just how fucked up there "relationship" is, well that along with this:

“No one fucks with my property is all,” he grunted, looked away with a nearly unreadable expression, and then resumed his gruff and aloof manner.

It was… heart-warming in a sense, she thought, even though she knew he didn’t exactly have one to warm.

less heartwarming and more or less tragic. You know shits messed up when your referred to as property and it makes you even the slightest bit happy.

I loved her realization that she isn't alone in this and now hopefully things will get better for her.

And happy to see Retsu has not lost her touch, she still intimidates people.

-Alright, still powering through this, now on to chapter 25-

    Chapter 23:

Oh my, a TRIPLE update!?!?!?!? You spoils us lol.

Okay review time for this chapter.

Now......I have mentioned quite a few times in the past that I harbor a near biblical hatred to quite a few Arrancar in this story, Nnoitora being chief among them...........but I will give the Devil his due........The sex scene with him was unbelievably hot. It was also nice to get into Rangiku's head to see that while overall she does not like her situation, she has learned to adapt and uses what she can to work things in her favor. She does not love Nnoitora and if thing were different wouldn't bat an eyelash at his demise, but if she is going to be a pet/slave, then she is going to get the most out of it and tried to avoid getting hurt.

I also happened to read what Faora wrote on fanfiction.net and while it is known that I have a similar sentiment, I agree with what you said about Tatsuki trying to keep thing upbeat and stable. She may not like how things are but this is the only way for her to help.

-And now on to chapter 24 to see how things go during Rangiku's shopping-

Well that went from nice and sunny to tearjerker in a heartbeat. My rage towards Yammy is at an all time high after seeing Renji and Ajuga's reactions to Byakuya's current state. It says a lot that their are characters that I hate more than Aizen in this fic. Now this:

"Jushiro wondered just how long it would be before the two would finally see the unvarnished truth of what life was like under Aizen’s tyrannical control for the majority of the Soul Society’s denizens. He feared that day wasn’t far off and wished he could do anything he could to postpone it.

Unfortunately, no one could have predicted how quickly that moment would arrive."

This right there is some sick foreshadowing. I take it the kids/teens are going to get a face full of the reality their parents and some of there comrades and the guy they served helped create. It was bound to happen eventually and the protective little bubble was going to last forever.

"Maybe I'll upload the next one sooner, make it a double update or something so we can finally have some fluff and happy thoughts for a change.

Would love to see the fluff and happy thoughts.............but given that Nnoitora(Grrrhatehim) is in the next chapter, happy and fluff can only go on for so long lol. Would love that double update though, this story is far too damn good and the breaks in between chapters gut me. Also sorry about not clarifying the Soi thing, I can see how that would confuse someone lol.

Question: hmm Cross race pairing eh? I would have loved too have seen Ulq survive and pull a heel face turn and pair up with Orihime. His image song/poem and the short story he had in the data book gave big hints that he had fallen for her. Basically like this story, except for the rape and claiming deal lol. And just because I am a fan of femslash I would have been tickled if menoly and loly had pulled a heel face turn after Orihime saved them and have them follow her back to Karakura Town after the battle and act as her protectors under the guise of simply plotting to take her out(but never going through with it), Loly in particular being all tsundere about the arrangement but still looking out for the girl.

Another lovely chapter,I am stoked at the prospect of weekly updates.

Nice to see Ajuga still has time for her Gin, but maybe her opinion of him being at the bottom of the pack would change if she had seen him when he was 100%. That man was a bad ass beyond many and if it wasn't for the Hōgyoku he would have succeeded in killing Aizen. Would love to see Soi get in on one of these all female get together's, god knows she could use one after all she has been through.Just a chance to relax and unwind and connect with people beyond Yumi and Ggio and help figure out any kinks in their plan to save her child. Maybe the guys could have a "guy's night out", although that would very well end in fisticuffs, probably do to something Nnoitora would say.

Question: Hmm I can see Rukia obtaining Bankai by the time the story ends. Girl needs to step her game up against these new enemies and Kubo needs to give his female characters more time to shine and not just give them the backseat to his precious male characters.

Another great chapter as always! To answer your question I have to say that I look forward to Soi Fon and Ggio hopefully able to raise there child at some point and have a relationship. I also want to see happy endings for Yumichika and Rangiku and Gin, maybe Gin and Rangiku will get together? And Yumichika will find someone to be with? I look forward to see who Aguja winds up maybe getting feelings for at some point?
