Damn, damn, damn, damn, DAMN!!!! I was so sure Starrk was going to claim them as his Fraccion.... Aizen's death better not be far off. Good luck on the test results, by the way. Laters.

I am sorry to hear about your hardship and loss. I hope it was at least private and brief. I am no good with condolences, but I do sincerely wish you to feel better soon since I know how saddening it can be.

To offer some critical input on the story, and to offer my own perspective on things that others have/continue to touch up, I've decided to post my proper review as a separate entry.

As to what the reviewer Kain said about Ichigo's level of power... I would hope that he's not portrayed as being so ridiculously more powerful than everyone else, to the point that he's basically the 'Super Man' of the manga. The whole impetus of this entire story, from the beginning, is that it was a mistake to put all their hopes behind Ichigo being able to pull off this one Hale Marry attack. His regular sudden jumps in power at critical moments always seemed like deus ex machinas to me.

And given the fact that this is a divergent timeline from the source material- where the living world is now a total mess, meaning all the nonsense with the Quincys (and the related aspects) never happened. Given all the negative reactions to the Fullbringers (and the whole reasoning behind the Fullbring powers), I'm much happier seeing Ichigo as a three-form hybrid, like he's always been. It's the fact that he's human/shinigami/hollow is the crux of his powers. It's what gives him an edge over the Vizards and the Arrancar (who are only two-form hybrids).

The whole reason that the original rebellion could have stood _any_ chance was because it was based on the concept of methodically pooling the combined strengths of dozens of super-powerful beings, combined with the help of the swarm, and only after they were able to cut Aizen's link to the powers of the Soul King's Realm. But then, that line of speculation is likely academic now.

Lastly, I can't foresee Hiyori being allowed to cause any more trouble by running her mouth. While I can sympathize with her anger and resistant toward the Arrancar, it's pointless. The same goes for Ichigo, and any further pissing contest between him and Grimmjow. As of this point, everyone is well past the point of recrimination. From now on, everyone has more important duties to fulfill.

Getting to the actual chapter... I have to say that I really enjoyed it. The first with Rangiku and Tatsuki was interesting, and it's cool to see that Nnoitra and Tesla carried out the plan to secure a larger, more defensible dwelling for all of them. In regards to Nnoitra, I realize that I should hate him for what he's done in the past, and to a lesser degree for the way he still treats Ran... But there's just something horribly endearing about him being such an unapologetic creep. In his mind, everything he does is perfectly logical- he claimed Rangiku because he's stronger, she belongs to him now, and she could make things easier for herself if she _just_ accepted her situation.

Now, don't think that I'm defending the guy, because he is a total sexist ass. But he _is_ a Hollow, and to judge him and others of his kind by our standards is pointless. Hollows are creatures of instinct, and this dictates their motives. However, as we've seen with any society, every Hollow is different from the next, meaning some are blatantly evil while others are largely benign. Drawing on the little we've seen of Francque Lloydght, it's clear that with the exception of possibly when he first claimed Toshiro's 11th Seat, things have settled between them- to the point that she's happily gushing about their future child. Similarly, it's clear that Maryeu seems content in her relationship with the Arrancar who claimed her. This doesn't excuse the possible trauma involved in the initial claimings (or the continued abuse in some cases).

However, people as a whole, will find ways to cope and survive. And sadly, in some cases, it can be summed up like this: 'if you can't be with the one you love, then have to the love the one you're with'. So, I can't really judge someone for accepting- or even learning to love- the person that they've ended up with. And the Shinigami, as a society, have spent the last fifteen years living as broken and defeated people. As a whole, they're too scared to ever think of rebelling. And I don't blame them, not when their continued survival hinges on the wims of Aizen! After he ascended to a near god-like level of power, what does he do then? He installs himself as the head of an oppressive regime, keeps the people in line with fear, yet still expects his kingdom to run perfectly. It's like what Ulquiorra and Grimmjow have said between them: he's all powerful, yet he does nothing meaningful with all his power, he just goes about maintaining this charismatic air of calm authority- at the same that he's getting of torturing and raping people in a frigging dungeon! Him being anywhere near Vindula and Abisara makes my skin crawl... Gugh!

Finally, I seriously loved everything about the scene between Orihime and Ulquiorra. From Hime's confidence and pride in her son, to the undiminished passion between them. And then, Ulqui finally tells Orihime that he loves her! That seriously gave me all the feels... And if that wasn't enough, he's finally able to admit to himself that he WOULD even go against Aizen for his family.

Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what happens now that the dynamics in Soul Society have been so shaken up. Well, this has to be the longest review I've EVER posted- anywhere! So I'll close this by saying that you have my utmost condolences, and that we're all thinking of you.

    Until next time.

Okay, on the story, I still hold to Starrk claiming the twins as his fraccion, and look forward to Aizen's puckering when he does! As to reality, oh, man, I'm so sorry. My utmost condolences.

    Dearest Novalexander,

Firstly, once again, allow me to congratulate you on another chapter well done. It's obvious that Orhime's humanity has begun to greatly effect her mate. I appreciate how this relationship has progressed since Part 1. In a true relationship/marriage/partnership you have two individuals who grow into one couple, as these two have.

On a private note, I have felt the pain that you are presently experiencing. While it may be difficult on this day and at this very moment, the best advice I can share with you is that time truly lessens the pain, the feeling of loss.

As one of your long time readers I thank you for putting pen to paper (hands to computer) and sharing your wonderful, original stories.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Do what you need to do to feel better, its different for everyone.
This was a very intense chapter and I am so glad that Ulqiorra has finally made the transition into a fully emotional being and father. At this point your story is so much better than the manga. Thank you for making my Wednesdays worth it :)

Damn it why am I in a room with other people!?!?!? This makes the squealing part SO MUCH HARDER.

This is EXACTLY why I love reading this story so much, cuz awesomeness and action and more awesomeness and cool scenes and pregnancies! I don't know why that interests me so much, but AS IT WILL!

Oh yeah I squealed....and scared my dogs into howling.I started reading this in the gym but I ended up finishing this at home which I'm lucky for. I kinda figured Yuzu would marry him...considering what I know of the manga and the past between him and her mom. It's an interesting pair and I can't wait for a further explanation on how that happened. Also....I wanna know whose pregnant!
But I also want to know what's happening with Karin. *sigh* this story is AWESOME! You have real talent and every time I read a chapter I'm inspired to write my own. Thank you for your work.
