Oh my Glaux, what a good chapter! You have sparked my love of Szayel/Nemu from hot coals to a roaring fire. And I love them both individually even more thanks to you. Thank you Nova, this was so well needed. I want them to have a happy ending almost more than anything. He is trying so hard, too hard at times, and I hope it pays off. They need it to work so good things can follow.

AND I DAMN NEAR DIED AT THE NEXT CHAPTER THING. BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR MONTHS. WAITING A WEEK IS GONNA BE MY DEATH.

Do you still intend to do daily updates for a week, by the way? This fix has me bowed too lowly to its power. I need. But I know you're not a machine so take all the time you need.

Good chapter, but the frequency with which you reference Yoruichi's skin color is kind of creepy; everyone knows she's got more melanin that most other characters. You never hammer home anyone else's color, so why do we get so many "dusky" and "dark-skinned" descriptors?

@Chapter 79: There were a lot of interesting developments in this chapter. I can sympathize with Ajuga's frustration over being sidelined, it makes sense to keep her out of Aizen's reach. I liked the scene with Zee, it's nice to get some insight into the guy, and the prospect of finding out more about his realm sounds like it would be pretty interesting- and Diaemus clearly is looking forward to their sojourn.

On a related note, I liked the exchange between Ajuga and Diaemus, especially the way he used Chess as a metaphor for their situation- that they're too important to risk bringing them anywhere near Aizen. The dynamic between these two is great, he really is the only one with the temperament needed to deal with Ajuga, which is further proof of why they're so good together. I'm still left wondering what Orihime and Ulquiorra's feelings are regarding their son's recent "engagement" to Grimmjow's offspring.

And man, was Yuroichi spot on with what a total egomaniacal shitbag Aizen is! She knows just how power-crazed and evil he is, and she doesn't pull any punches when it comes to making things clear to Ajuga! Not that I blame her.

Great chapter, I'm excited to see what happens next... Though the wait is really killing, I'll endure because this story is just so good!

Prize of victory is awesome and this chapter was no exception. However I do have a question about royal lineage. does marrying into the royal family make you royal.for example Rukia married Ichigo, who is a royal blood, would that make her royal as well?

Forgot to answer the question, shit.

I'd like to see more Fraccion because I have a weakness for them for some reason. I desire for more of Barragan's zoo...I mean group...the most. Except Ggio. Even if there was a body left, I'd rather he stay in the cycle of reincarnation so one day his soul ends up in the Seireitei so he can join Squad 2 and pester Soifon. And as much as I hate the idea of Mayuri putting his hands on characters I love...it would be rad if he had other Fraccion ferreted away to call upon if needed.

I must say, Yoruichi speaking so bluntly about Aizen almost made me want to be able to jump in and stop her. I know why she did it, but it still hurt poor Ajuga a lot. I'm starting to like Zee more and more, and I'm glad that you're keeping Ajuga and Diaemus out of the battle; it makes sense.

As for your question, I really don't expect Szayel to show up, simply because he appeared in the beginning of the Jigoku-hen movie as being in Hell. Or was that in a short chapter of the manga? I'm not sure... it's been a while since then. I also don't see how Kurotsuchi could've revived him. I'm still waiting for Grimmjow to show up. I'm honestly getting tired of waiting. It's been so many damn years!

While I am pleasantly surprised to see the 2 Privaron Espada and Charlotte back in the game I am confused as to how the hell luppi is back seeing as how Grimm fucking vaporized his upper torso. I mean the others were still for the most part intact upon their deaths but certainly not him and how in the hell did Mayuri even find his remains? did Aizen just keep that shit hanging around in the throne room for god knows how long? I am also a little perplexed on the power levels as well. Charlotte is seemingly able to curbstomp a zombie bambiette(who is still able to use her volstandig) who was in her first outing was established as being pretty fucking lethal and easily a match for a captain. Although he did only lose to yumi because of his own screw up of concealing their fight from everyone else.

I personally would have loved to have seen stark come back, zombie or not. He deserved a better send off. and It would have been sick to see the primera cut lose against Giselle. I am also curious on where the hell Nel vanished off too, either she is still wherever the fuck Grimm is or the author forgot about her like he did kon lol. To see her fight to her fullest would be nice.

But barring all this I am a bit in agreement with a reviewer from fanfiction.net. While for me at least, it's cool to see some old faces, I would have preferred this remain Gisell's whole schtick. That and I don't like mayuri and would have loved to finally see someone put him down in a horrific way and use him as a tool.

And if I may be as so bold to ask, but what exactly is it that makes Yylfordt appeal to you? Granted we know next to nothing about him beyond being grimms fraccion and Szayel's brother he didn't seem to serve much purpose than to help set the bar on what was to come in the Arrancar arc and show that even a bankai wielding Renji had to catch him by surprise by releasing his power limiter to beat him.

But anyway, nice chapter but weekly updates kill me lol. The anticipation always kills me and I am not well versed in patience. Looks like Ajuga's learning to cool down her baser emotions and see the bigger picture. Despite being a hybrid she seems to only favor her hollow half so it's refreshing to see her curb her emotions. It will be interesting to learn more about the swarm and their realm. As much as I despise him it will be nice to see Aizen fight without being able to rely on the hogyoku and perhaps his shikai. Can't decide if that makes him more or less dangerous though, ya know that old saying of backing a wounded/rabid animal into a corner? All there going to do is force him to put a real effort into killing them all and even when ya take away his toys he still has his monstrous Reiatsu and vast kido knowledge and swordsmanship. The fucker was also fast enough to walk circles around Ichigo before even evolving.

-wait patiently for the next chapter-

@Chapter 78: Oh Renji... You're gonna be such a good poppa. I figure they'll have a traditional Japanese wedding, though I wonder where they're gonna find a Shinto priest/priestess to preside over the ceremony.

Speaking of matrimony... The Lloydt household is going to be interesting after the kid is born. Let's see, there'll be Franque, Michiko, their child, and of course "Uncle Watanabe". Try explaining that one to a kid, lol.

    Thanks for the update, Nova!

I hope for Renji's sake the ceremony also happens before Chappy fabric is found ~ lol!

Love the story entirely! Amazing work and truly inspiring for other writers! Do you have any plans on making a Part 3 to Prize of Victory? Like so we can see how the children all turn out and deal with their issues as they are full adults.

Superb story; you managed to write everyone in character, you've constructed an excellent plot, and best of all, you've created such emotionally charged characterizations that I find myself caring about characters that I either just dismissed or hated. I mean, Szayel? I barely even remembered that he existed, and I thought Byakuya was quite possibly the biggest ass in the entire series (at least with regard to the people who weren't just flat out evil). Yet you've managed to turn them into two of the most sympathetic characters I've ever run across. It would be an absolute crime not to finish this. Just out of curiosity, are you going to write anything about Ulquiorra's reasons for being the way he is like you did with Tia and Starrk? I always thought he was the most interesting character in Bleach because he seemed to me to be the only character that ever displayed any real development; the only one who ever learned anything. I would love to hear your interpretation of what happened to him to make him so cold, and/or what it was that Aizen promised him to engender such loyalty.

I must confess that I've fallen out of the Bleach fandom years ago, around the time Aizen turned butterfly, and yet I still check for updates on this fic every few days even though I only do that for the manga every few weeks or months. It's really funny how a fic can still keep you reading a manga even if your love for it has pretty much died down, and for that I thank you, because even if I don't love Bleach as much as I used to, it was still my favorite for a long time, and it's the anime that got me into drawing ( writing too, I guess ).

Anyway, at this point, I don't really care how the manga ends ( although I'm still waiting for Grimmjow to show up ), but I'm dying to know how your fic ends. It's crazy! I hope my thirst for blood will get satisfied with Yammy/Aizen/Barragan's deaths.

The funny thing is that I'm not even a big fan of pregnancies and OCs in fics, and yet I still read POV. I guess you're just that good. xD

I believe there was a time when I used to review every chapter of POV ( the first one ), not sure though, but like I said, I fell out of the fandom, so that's the reason why I don't anymore. Still, great work with this fic.

@Chapter 77: I had a feeling that the birthing process would do a number of Soifon's small body, similar to the tole on Rukia in "Crossbreeding the Future" when she gave birth to Kinome (and later Zangetsu). Though, I had bit of a cringe moment about the "taring" bit, poor thing... Still, I got a chuckle when I read "hurt like a bitch" in the narration, haven't heard that one in a while.

It's really frightening how Aizen seamlessly slips between personae, being a utter sadist one moment to being charming and personable the next. But then, that's the insidious nature of true evil. He shows up, all smiles, and casually chats with Soifon while holding her baby in his arms, except that he's all but outright threatening both a mother and her newborn child.

Great job, Ican't wait for the next chapter!
