Prize of Victory, as interesting as ever!! Can't wait to get a glimpse of part too!
Though some of the stuff makes me feel so bitter TT^TT Poor Gin and Byakuya. I like them so much but they're one of the very few left that are being perpetually tormented. That's not fair! For that, you must muster up a most grotesque and terrible death for Yammy and Aizen!! :D

This Chapter was one of the most emotional chapters you have written. Seeing Gin loosing all hope broke my heart. You have really taken him to a very dark place and when he was reunited with Shinso I was in tears. Did Aizen in his rage forgotten to take Shinso away? Love Shinso as a fox spirit. Thank you for the chapter.

Wow, I take back what I said last time, Aizen may be even worse then Yammy after all, the man gets godlike power and it goes straight to his head, pretty much what happened when he started his transformations though so it certainly makes sense, as for your odd pairings, my favorite is probably Karin/Grimmjow.

D: Poor Gin! He and Szayel have paid for their sins a thousand times over! D: And poor Ajuga, knowing someone she cared about was hurt because of her! You have not only made Aizen a bigger monster than he was in canon, you have made me hate him a thousand times more.

Also, I'm glad to hear you intend to finish both parts of this story!

For me it's GRimmjow/Karin. Grimmjow is my favorite character, and it's really refreshing to not see him coupled to Ichigo or Orihime for once. I love seeing him paired with Karin or Tatsuki, since they are both strong females.

So I have been a bad monkey. I have been following this since I discovered it around chapter 30ish or so. I haven't reviewed, but I thought with your last author's note I should. I also have been following The Real King. I love this story, and it is honestly the only reason I still pop in on AFF on a weekly basis (to see if its updated).I have come to love the Karin/ Grim pairing. I keep wondering how Azien will be able to be over thrown, but I think you give that perfectly with his power being drained to father a child.
Please, please, please don't stop writing this! I want to see how it ends!

Wow....just when I think I can't feel any more sorry for Gin than I already do, I end up feeling more sorry for the poor guy. :(

Thanks for another great update, and the terrific new that you'll be continuing the story with Part 2 after this ends! *hurray!*

karin and grimmjow¡¡ i consider the other couples sweet, but we dont read them enough to make them worty of "shockingly enjoying", i have read 3 fics so far of this odd couple and have liked them all, although this one is by far the one where those two have more character development.

This chapter broke my heart, poor Gin, and i know i have said this before but holy shit! 10 years, I am surprised there hasn't been any mass suicide attempts from the surviving populace. speaking of the current population, you may have already answered this so i may have to reread but was there ever a number given to the amount of Shinigami and Arrancar currently residing in SS? Also, and i have asked this before so sorry if it seems like i am pestering you but will we get any more info on the daily lives of the other claimed Shinigami(OC or a Pov from Soi Fon) and how they have handled and been treated for the past decade? Outside of Karin's "group" I honestly can't see them EVER being okay with the way things are, mass murder and rape(claim or w/e to some) although you have stated that it has toned down, leaves a permanent stain and many survivors are probably wishing a bloody death to the Arrancars and Aizen. This story is awesome and the scene with Gin and Unohana Felt sooooo raw and actually brought a tear to my eye and it looks like Ajuga's eyes are being opened to the reality of the world she lives in. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for the fast and fabulous update. Even though I enjoy crying in empathy for well-loved characters (which I did), I am again tortured into waiting for Gin's rescue (like Byakuya). When that happens, I think Orihime should be able to reject the damage done to him as well as anyone who has been abused and 'punished' by Aizen. (have you noticed nobody calls him Sousuke? cause nobody loves him!) I'd like to see her reject everything that he ever had a hand in and erase his existence from history, maybe even from people's minds, but that could lead to a 'repeat the mistakes from your past' scenario.

I don't see the pairings in this story as crack because you did such a good job of making their connections believable, given the circumstances of this plot. I really like the Grimmjow/Karin pairing. Such a strong, passionate duo. They can easily create problems between themselves to add intrigue and drama. Oh, can you give us some more Grimm inner-thoughts? It feels like he's got less screen time, lately. While Tatsuki/Tesra are wonderful, there isn't much room for playing around as they relatively conflict free. I'd like to see what might come of Renji/Nel and Rangiku/Nnoitra as there is still room for development with them.

Yay! Tesra and Tatsuki. All of the pairings are great but this one was very unexpected and well written. Something I thought was going to happen in this chapter, was that maybe Gin and Unohana started to care for each other more deeply, romantically. Simply because being put in that kind of position, they have no one else but each other behind the castle doors. Everyone else can wonder what happens in their private chambers, but only Unohana and Gin know the truth. Seeing as Rangiku is adjusting to her life, perhaps it's time Gin found some semblance of peace. That could just be me, Gin has been my favorite character since he first appeared in the anime. Thank you for continuing. :) I am very excited to read part two!
