Way to go Tatsuki for telling Ulqui off! I bet not many women have slapped him and lived to tell about it. The part about the conditions allowing Tesla to claim her had bothered me. I knew it was just a matter of time before the old easily pissed off Tatsuki so outwardly expressed herself. You hit a cord about Ulquiorra would be the kind of guy who would look for a quick fix in relationship problems. Just as he is clueless about slavery being wrong he doesn't seem to understand the concept of friendship. I wonder how long it will be before he finally understands those concepts.

loved this chap & loved ulqui's inner thoughts about human woman that should but don't fear him. i was smiling for that whole section. hoping before or during the fighting that grim is able to trigger ulqui's insight into how awful it was for ori first 5 yrs & how bad it is for everyone else to be raped/abused willy nilly. i'd guess having a link w/someone in this universe would be a tool for hollows to learn empathy.

wondering what karin's emergency is & if it will be ulqui/grim fighting, since ori should have felt ulqui thru link, right? or is it just ulqui feeling ori b/c its just a one-way link, unlike karin's since she was able to do 2nd half of mating ritual? since ori is good at sensing spiritual pressure, i'd expect her to sense ulqui even w/o link while he is close enough, though. anyway, excited for next few chaps! hope we get hormonal ori w/revved up sex drive where ulqui just can't keep up w/demand, the happy/sad mood swing period, the 'feel fat & awful & its your fault for doing this to me you bastard' moment, etc... if she's gotta bear the brunt of the difficulties, ulqui should have to be at least somewhat inconvenienced at times & have those 'am i crazy' moments too.

p.s., thought the thing at bottom where we type in 2 words were for reviews when not logged in, so created an acct, but still gotta do that annoying thing! why make leaving reviews so hard, site people?

Loved this chapter, but I wonder what happened. One moment everything is peaceful and then Karin appears and grabs Orihime � (o_O)

Talk about a cliffhanger � you are being evil with your loving readers (aka ME)

I did notice the spaces between paragraphs, but it�s not too bad. Anyway � I cannot wait for the next update

Love how Tatsuki told off Ulquiorra as well as explained things to Orahime.

Hmmm ... Ok can see several reasons for Karin's sudden arrival and retrieval of Orahime ...
1 Ulqui and Grim having an all out battle over recent events and either one being seriously injured.
2 Alarms will soon be heard and several critically injured individuals are being rushed to the 4th due to bug ambush
3 Ukitake had relapse
4 Ajuga was injured due to accident after Tatsuki left
5 Ajuga and possibly Ukitake were injured because Barragan broke into the estate and tried to claim an unwilling Ajuga when no other powerful presence was at the estate (or if lucky Ajuga kicked Barragan's ass and Karin doesn't want repercussions to come their way if he dies due to being trounced by a little kid ... too much attention would come from Aisen).
6 Szayel is under duress again after being publicly gifted to Karin
7 Yammy disobeyed Aisen and Byakuya needs healing (and Yammy could finally receive a bit of needed punishment from Aisen).
8 I suppose there could also be the possibility that Renji's Zanpacto is reforming and no one realizes it so there is concern at him experiencing a sudden onset of inexplicable agony the likes of which have never before been witnessed by any except Szayel upon the destruction of Renji's Zanpacto.
Hmmm ... probably missed several things but ... think I covered the most obvious and/or dramatic possibilities.

Glad Ulqui held his temper and loved all of his reactions ... especially the 'so getting her a ring will fix everything?' type of clueless male evasion of dealing with an emotional situation in a totally non-emotional and quick-easy fix way.

Also glad to see Tesra being so concerned for Tatsuki. (makes me wonder if Tesra and Nnoitra were together when Tatsuki had her emotional explosion at Ulqui ... and Nnoitra went to confront Ulquiorra about the incident between his fractiones mate and the other espada ... leaving Grimmjow a bit stunned and put out ... and maybe a bit antagonized since he and Nnoitra are almost as volitile a mix as Grimmjow and Ulquiorra).

Oh well ... guess we have to wait a week to find out the emergency ... and i know my guesses are probably all way off. (talk about a distraction on the first day back in classes ... do you realize how hard it is to concentrate on programming or probability and statistics ... much less senior ethics or data storage structures?).

glad chap shows bya is mending his shredded soul slowly. hopefully he'll become indispensable to aizen & yammy won't be allowed to abuse his pet anymore. also neat to have bya & karin getting along so well. his constant disparaging thoughts about ichi tickle my funny bone lots. & of course its nice to see the 'created' family together helping each other out (am including szay & now bya). its not just the stark household members, but the humans & close friends that seem to work like a family unit (core, then cousins, aunts/uncles, etc). &fc ajuga's empathic sense via smell continues to develop--she's gonna end up being a lie detector of sorts, not just spot on re: what people fea

can't wait til next chap if you will feature ori, tats, & ulqui! woohoo!

Guess this is the 'Don't ask ... Don't tell' chapter

Ukitake had avoided directly asking about Byakuya's home conditions and Byakuya didn't tell ... until Karin left them each with no choice but to confront the issue. Glad it is helping Byakuya to heal inside now that he's opened up. I think it will help Ukitake a bit too.

And the other 'DA ... DT' ... Ok let the arrancar's think it is Grimmjow who claimed Szayel and 'gifted' him to his mate as a babysitter ... They don't need to know Karin did the claim directly (though from his sneaky and demeaning actions I think Aisen is clued in).

Hmmm Tatsuki giving Ulquiorra an earful? Wonder what that will set in motion ... he lets Tatsuki and Tesra be together but technically Tatsuki is his so he might feel obligated to have a discussion with Tesra and possibly his master Nnoitra ... and that could lead to Nnoitra and Tesra having a discussion ... and if what Tatsuki has to say is what I think she might have to say ... Nnoitra might start thinking of upgrading his and Rangeku's relationship by asking with a little sparkly gold hint ... (provided Rangeku doesn't die of shock he might experience his most mind blowing night ... day ... week ... month ever). Of course if Ulquiorra listens to that hint he might be a bit surprised too.

I Loved this chapter, because unlike the last two it was happy. A little angsty, but happy nonetheless.

Those three put up quite a scene in font of the unknowing Arrancars. Those fools had no idea they were just playing a role *smirk* I feel smart (for once in my life)

Karin is kind of young � now that I think. When I was her age � *dreamy eyes*

Ulquiorra gets an earful from Tatsuki-chan. Hmmm I wanna see that happening

Holy crap! Byakuya was forced to suck off Yammy once in public and people still don't know the true extent of his abuse until now?! That certainly is a whoa moment! Yammy needs to die really soon though it's good to see things are already improving for Byakuya. Please keep the chapters coming I am enjoying your story as always.

P.S. I hope you had a merry Christmas and a happy New Year and good luck with motherhood.

Correction to last review ... matron not matrimony ...

Of course I'd love to see Szayel (as well as Renji and Nemu) have to move in with Karin and Grimmjow just for added protection ... I think coming home and finding 'Pinky' there would make Ajuga and Hana almost as ecstatic as having Ukitaki-Ji home and better. It's been a while since we saw Rangeku and Nnoitra too ... wonder how they are doing (wonder if Tatsuki or Tesra might have mentioned some 'romantic' human customs ... wonder what Rangeku would do if Nnoitra managed to show up with a huge bouquet of roses one day for example ... hmmm he might just get a smile instead of a smirk on his face again). Would love to see those two get mated ... and maybe if we are lucky Nnoitra will get guidance from Tatsuki ... via Tesra of course ... on how to guarantee a non-claim enforced enthusiastic acceptance when he asks? (ie dozens of red roses, dinner and slow dancing at finest restaurant and dance hall around, taking a vaguely submissive pose on one knee (getting Rangeku's eyes on the verge of popping out from shock) ... and presenting her with a super fantastic ring ... ya know ... the whole fairy tale proposal most little girls dream of. (and of course Nnoitra's stomach tied in knots the whole time)

Soooo wanna see Aizen, Yammy, and Barragan put through as many tortures as possible ... with no chance of escape ... and for an indefinite amount of time. (or if that can't be arranged in a way that allows them to be locked away unseen forever ... I suppose a suitably painful death would do ... though to would be interesting if Karin was able to use the power of Aisen's Zanpacto and seal those three together with them seeing the others through an illusion as their 'victim' of choice so that each would receive the treatment that had been forced on the other's previous victims. ...)

satisfying chapter, with some good things coming byakuya's way at last (despite the price he had to pay) & a respite for szayzel from aizen's rape fetish. also finally got to see ori help uki, something I've been dying to see happen since I first read/saw that uki was so sick in canon & ori had rejecting power. goody!

hoping we'll get to welcome chibi ulqui to this fictional world soon (or at least a sonogram scene where he's seen in all his glory, & we get an awww moment from stiff ulqui). am betting the girls will have a great time baby-sitting & get into all sorts of fun situations (as when lilynette would sick ajuga onto sleeping starkk) in between the angst & battles with swarm & aizen's twisted misdeeds.

I know Yammy is relatively slow mentally but I honestly wonder how long it will take him to connect the dots ...

Dot 1. Karin and Ajuga adore Byakuya.
Dot 2. Karin HATES him because of how he treats Byakuya.
Dot 3. Karin would love to see he is as frustrated as possible.
Dot 4. Karin likes to see Byakuya happy.
Dot 5. Karin now controls Szayel via a claim (or through Grimmjow's claim ...)
Dot 6. Szayel is the only one that can make it possible for Yammy to get Byakuya pregnant.
Dot 7. Byakuya would be unhappy being pregnant. (see dot 4).
Dot 8. No way in H*** is Karin gonna let Szayel make Byakuya preggers (though she might be spiteful and have Szayel do the reverse ... plant a fertilized egg in Yammy ... now who would the donors of that unfortunate egg be ... maybe that annoying old matrimony and Yammy?)

Either way ... it shouldn't take him long to realize a kid ain't happening no matter how much he threatens Szayel since Szayel has been claimed and ordered not to do it by his owner.

Of course it will make everyone take notice of Karin and how strong she is ... even if she is JUST a human.

Hope Karin's plan works ... and Szayel isn't in danger. Hope Jushiro doesn't have that bad type of TB. Sounds like Byakuya is gonna savor every moment he can away from Yammy and Yammy is gonna snarl every moment Byakuya savors.
