Hmm ... Actually Ajuga was humming the tune so it could be explained away as having been overheard from a passing street vendor or possibly by someone else at the 4th or something ... I'm sure Gin and Rangeku aren't the only ones who know the song.

I loved that scene with Ajuga and Gin. And I like that Rukongai song he taught Ajuga. Now I know it is out of the question to know what all the verses are for each district but I'd like to know what the verses are for the last 3 districts (78-80).

I'm almost convinced that it's going to take Rangeku spending some time on life support ~ or at least in critical condition so that Nnoitra realizes he actually can lose her ~ for him to realize just how important she is to him, how much he really cares for her, and how the thought of his life without her is completely unbearable now. In other words ... he needs to be totally miserable because he came close to losing her for a while to get his ass in gear to propose to her.

This is one of the saddest chapters so far to me. I am a huge fan of the third division and Kira and to hear of their fate was heartbreaking, not to mention what is is doing to Gin. He is carrying a lot of guilt with him. Something always makes me think that his playful nature and other personality traits would make him a good father. If Unohana would fall pregnant I can see Gin raising the kid as Aizen would not be interested in the early years accept to hear the progress and Unohana being busy with her division during the day. Would it not be lovely if Gin can influence the child to some degree (not that Aizen would allow it – but hey I can dream). Love the song – could see that it can only be known by children from the outskirts of Rukongai. Coke Light for me but my dog is named Pepsi.

pepsi if i still drank soda, or supersweet champagne cola (?) or basic sunkist orange soda. stick to non-carbonated these days.

goody for next chap, been harping/asking practically every other review, i think about baby ulquihime! ;-) don't remember if karin had a shower--but hope ori gets one. having ulqui deal w/buttloads of females is bound to be amusing.

melancholy chap. gin's words/thoughts elicit such sadness & pity for his character! ran's zanpakto can at least keep her company, so she seems better off now than gin & his dire situation. happy nnoi isn't as brutal. betting she won't have baby soon b/c its still not a 'love' match, like w/karin & ori.

also gotta worry for fate of ajuga, so mature for her age but still a kid, she's bound to get herself in trouble sooner rather than later being unable to think thru possible consequences due to lack of experience.

I feel the need to add a review afther almost half a year of catching up and following this story. So far i love how Karin has matured from a prisioner-alike to have a sense of importance and never put herself down. She is human, originaly she was a propierty, but she know she can fight back and is not afraid to use her position
Ajuga.... her name freaks me because i dont know how to pronounce it. I like you have started to show her more mature, and to show the kid is smart, trough, i would like to know how old she looks and if she still is in a "resurection" form. I get the feeling she, like arrancar, can seal her power in a blade and look human; and i would like to see that and the reaction it would get from Grimmjow and Szayel. Also, is her "smelling" like her mother's "seeing" reaitsu? Is she an empat like Karin aparently was?
Also, we havent heard from Ichigo's group in a while, and the dreaded(waited) reaction to knowing he has a niece; or from Yoruichi.

Simply another fabulous chapter!! You've made me feel concern and sympathy for a character I normally take a strong dislike to! Gin is creepy with that ever present smile and yet in these last dew chapters I've felt compassion for. He seems so lost and alone. Ajuga is growing up beautifully and I love her sense of innocence that sometimes wars with her understanding of certain things around her. You're one of my favorite storytellers because you really do bring these characters to life so much so that each chapter is like visiting old friends.

Glad Ajuga's visit picked up Gin's mood sort of. It sounds like Rangeku's curiosity might clue a few people in to Ajuga's secret little visits (just like a cat to be curious though). Sigh ... Still hoping Nnoitra grows a set and asks Rangeku to take the next step with him and become his mate ... not just his possession.

If Tatsuki mentions Rangeku's question/concern to Karin ... I wonder what she and Grimmjow will say or do. I also wonder what would happen if Unohanna walked in on one of Ajuga's visits (without Aisen of course).

Hope Ajuga gets home safe ... and no run-ins with Barragan (glad Ajuga and Nnoitra are getting on so well in spite of Nnoitra's somewhat volitile relationship with her parents). Makes me wonder if he'd actually protect Ajuga if her parents weren't arround (like if he saw Barragan or Yammy accosting her in town ... )

Now that she knows who to blame for Szayel's injuries that night so long ago (I'm sure she suspected a little) ... I wonder what Ajuga will do to get even. She might not do anything immediately but she definitely seems to follow the policy of "Don't get mad ... Get even ... With interest".

Hmmm ... so we get a sneak peek at the bat-baby ... should be nice. Wonder what Szayel and Unohanna will say medically and how Ulquiorra will react to actually seeing the baby for the first time.

Still hoping you'll start doing more double posts ... or maybe doing two posts a week ... Sigh.

Um ... Answer to weekly question ... Usually Coca-Cola or Mt. Dew .... tea, juice, milk ...

Another great chapter. I always find it hilarious how no matter WHAT happens, Grimmjow always makes sure he's the winner. He's bleeding to death, yet he still relishes in his victory with boistrous laughter. Truly awesome.

As for the Xcution arc, I did indeed find it a bit weak, but it's hard to follow up on the previous ones. The entire manga thus far has been focused on defeating Aizen, and with that goal gone, a new direction is hard to find after so long. Personally, the one thing I did very much like about the most recent arc was Shukuro. His ability to alter memories places him in the upper scales of power across any character in Bleach! He's so efficient with his power, he turned Byakuya into a brawler lol! Overall, it was a bit weak, but there's still some solid fun to be had in it.

this was a blast! so fun. too bad they didn't have video cameras to save for posterity, b/c i doubt ulqui will ever use his shattered eyeball trick to replay that scene to anyone! hope we get a sonogram scene for ori, so we get to have a peek at what you'll have baby be like & maybe another momentary loss of control from ulqui, but of positive emotion instead. some cuddle or supportive/loving ulquihime scene showing ulqui's learning ability post humiliating scene would be awesome! curious about what szayzel will talk over w/karin.

continued good health & luck for your pregnancy

Oh god. Grimmjow can really hit the spot (and I’m not talking just about his sessions with Karin)

I have no doubt she would throw herself in Kami-sama’s path if it meant protecting her family, regardless of the fact she would stand no chance against him. Just as her foolish brother does against us - so true! I see Karin doing that *cough* and I think she might do that in the future *cough*
Though I must confess that I really wanted to murder Uqui as well (still Karin has the first shot)

The last arc … it’s hard to decide. There were parts which didn’t fail to entertain me, but some chapters bored me to death. It’s kind of strange if you asked me. It was rushed, yes, it could have been worse, but it could have been better (like not ignoring Karin-sama)

Actually, since Ulquiorra specifically thought it in comparison to Grimmjow, and we all know how Grimmjow gets along with several select individuals ...

It would be great to see Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, and Nnoitra dragged along by their associated female significant others ... and having a 'discussion' about human/shinigami female peculiarities (especially their strange emotional priorities and 'needs') ... hmmm maybe with Tesra in the unenviable position of moderator and peace negotiator among the male group ... while the girls set up a picnic and coo over the kiddies and generally have a relaxing henfest.

*ROTFLMAO at the begining* Oh god, oh god, oh god, OH GWAD~~~ *pounds on desk and rocks on the chair laughing breathlessly* I had to pause now and then to catch my breath, yegodswomanIloveyouandthankyousomuchformakingmyday *coughcoughheckcoughwheeze* Oh and you too Grimmjow *pats her scowling Grimmjow plushie she've absently took out from her bedroom* though I should be smacking both you and Ulquiorra's heads. Ah men~~

Your Weekly Question: Well the Xecution Arc is admittedly so-so overall for me, not too bad but not too great either, and I neither hate nor like it (kinda like a fine balance of like and dislike, on neutral grounds so to speak). Anyhow, hopefully things will pick up.........in the next two weeks *head desk and groans with impatience*

Xecution arc? Hmmm ... must be behind here since all I have access to is CN ... since that doesn't sound like anything in any of your ficcage.

Actually, given their nature, Grimmjow and Ulquiorra can probably each claim a minor victory against each other but ... I'm sure they each will discover their women, who weren't even there for most of it, actually came out on top. (nothing like a pissed off female, especially a pregnant or hormonal one, to make a male cower in fear and eventually cry with frustration).

Hmmm ... Wonder what Karin wants to talk to Szayel about. Maybe a way to make the other human/shinigami mates ~ not that there are many ~ able to feel their mate like most hollow-to-hollow mates can? Possibly it will be concerning his slower emotional and psychological healing? Maybe she just wants him to suggest sensitivity seminars for the espada and arrancar to help ease tensions among the human/shinigami population due to the cultural differences? Of course it could be something out of left field and have nothing to do with the current events between herself, Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, and Orahime.

Hope Ajuga has a safe visit and that Gin doesn't suffer any fall-out from it. I'm sure that on one of these visits Ajuga will personally witness how evil and twisted Aisen is ... just hope she has enough common-sense and self-preservation instinct to just observe and not make her presence known ... Though I'm sure all related or pseudo-related adults will be suitably horrified on that day when mama asks the usual dinner questions "so how was your day Princess? Did you do anything fun? Have you learned anything new?" If Szayel happens to be a dinner guest that particular night we might actually see our first espada heart attack (or fainting at the very least ~ we all know that Szayel adores Ajuga as much as her own parents do ... and with his recent memories of interacting with Kami ...). (so want Ajuga to be fast enough that Aisen's vision can't keep up with her so she can use her claws and literally rip his balls off in a fit of righteous anger - dick included ~ thereby making everyone a little safer since we know it would be too embarrassing to ask for Orahime's assistance or the fourths with that minor medical emergency ... much less all the speculations on how such a thing could have happened to him).

Kinda wondering how Nnoitra and Rangrku are doing as well as Toshiro and Harribel's menagerie.
