Gin is a sly fox, but in a world of trouble if Aizen finds out. This chapter was pretty good I hoped you'd get to the part about Orihime though.

Kinda puts a new spin on the end of the last scene, huh? Can I just pat myself on the back for just knowing the minute Gin said he'd 'take care' of her that he intended to help her? Because, hello, look how he went out of his way to protect Kira and Matsumoto! I meant to comment on that, but damn if I don't always forget something when I'm sleepy.

Am I evil for looking forward to the undoubtedly explosive reaction when they discover that Orihime betrayed them?

Aagh! I haven't been able to get on internet in so long, and then i find you've updated twice! I loved both chapters. Especially 53. I just love that Ichigo is trying so hard with Kisuke. Hopefully I'll have access to my internet the next time you update!

Aww that was sweet....well the whole how Ishida and Renji hooked up thing. I never liked Orihime in the show or manga, always so weak minded and irritating when she thought she was doing good. I like how you describe her in this.

Dear bloody gods! That damned Orihimie! And damn Tats for not calling for help sooner. And Gin! What to say about Gin except that he let himself get put in an awful, awful place.

This - why do you delight in tormenting us with cliff-hangers!? First there was the incredibly cute reunion scene of Ichigo and Kisuke - I was practically smothered by teh cute. It was - it was right,, and they were both so shy and unsure of themselves but you could just see how they fit together like they belonged that way. And Kisuke and Benehime! Wonderful! Though I get a sneaking suspicion he's going to be needing her sooner then he'd prefer to. And Orihime - oh well. Can't say that we didn't see her coming - usually tolerate Orihime - she's fun, to a certain extent - but I can agree with the picture of her that you're painting here.

PS. About that connection between Ichigo's and Kisuke's souls - is it going to be played on sometime soon? I think it's an incredibly fun/useful plot device; could be used in all sorts of interesting ways. You know, if Ichigo ever crossed into Kisuke's inner realm, he'd get quite a bit more then he was expecting - but he'd get to see his Kisuke again, if only for a moment...

    *happy, happy sigh*

I now have that lovely warm and fluffy feeling that comes from a moment between two lovers that reminds one just how powerful love can be. That moment at the pool, when they both went awkward, made me sigh. So cute. And gods, the way they want each other!

This just hurt: "And I know you're not my Kisuke. It's okay," he told the other man quietly. I beg to differ... Kisuke had it right. He's not Urahara, but he is Kisuke, and I get the feeling it was Kisuke that Ichigo fell in love with first. I hope that makes sense.

That was the perfect end to the chapter btw, the mutal bonding over the horror of Grimmjow sexing anybody. *smirk* I'm looking forward to watching that relationship develop as much as I'm enjoying Kisuke and Ichigo's.

Squee! I love Rukia and Ryuuken interaction. This was done so well. Quincies are difficult people. So stubborn. Possibly equal to Ichigo's stubbornness. They never want to cooperate characterization wise when I attempt something with them. But I win in the end! Wahahahahaha!!!!!

Oh god Kuchki Taiocho is going to have a litter of kittens... and Uryuu is going to swallow his tongue... Renji is going to laugh his tail off and Ichi is gonna just shake his head and groan.... keep up the great work good luck with the reading work and hope you put the story your writing for Y-con on the site *grin* (reaches back and thumps Rysha) yaoi fangirls we may be but she screeches loud enough to wake the neighbors baby again and i'm gonna make her write the next chapters for the story instead of just typing them in for me.

Good point. Byakuya is far too private for any discussion of his personal life to go well.

"...apparently the junior Shinigami had certain conditioned responses to orders from Quincy - they obeyed them." Beautiful, just beautiful.

This chapter is gorgeous. I love the way the relationship with these two is developing. I couldn't help thinking back to the night Rukia drank him under the table and Isshin's reaction to it the next morning. I snorted and laughed my way through this chapter, because they are just so perfect for each other.

Wow, I seriously love this! I can't wait for more! Though I guess it'll take a while--you updated while I was in the middle of reading it ^.^ It was kinda odd; I started with the knowledge that there were 51 chapters, but then at the end of 51, there's a "next chapter" button. Talk about good timing!
