Reviews for Pina Colada Espada

I've always been something of a fan of the Grimmjow/Harribel pairing. Mostly it occurred to me that they were a fitting pair for sexual or lustful reasons. Your work, "Pina Colada Espada", out of all I've seen and imagined of Grimm/Tier is particularly refreshing. It rises above a plain 'hot n' sweaty' erotica and 'run of the mill' vacation themed fictions.
Reading someone's work which is too concise (plain) isn't the most enjoyable thing. I find your fiction to comfortably walk the line between novel and oneshot; it doesn't take long to delve into the story/setting and a warm, captivating story exists behind the delicious interest going on between Harribel and Grimmjow. No Porn Without Plot goin' on here!
"P.C.E." is focusing on all the 'right' things. Feelings between characters: They are believable and delicious(captivating). I especially like reasonable uncertainty between Harribel and Grimmjow. Events: There is plenty going on with Tier and Grimm as well as around them. Setting: The details of this aren't painfully intricate but they exist! Most certainly can I envision where they are. Sensuality: The delicious sexual relations of the main pair aren't forgotten and when arousal comes up (heh heh, pun!) it's an expert mixture of tenderness and libidinous desire. With all of these aspects tumbling around, it's obvious that Grimmjow and Tier's relationship is a big chunk of this story but you've also brought to life their world(s) and thoughtful concepts they stumble across; which is fabulous story-telling!
Countless is the amount of times I've read fictions and thought the dialogue was cliche and/or unintelligible...and I'm pleased to announce that you completely dodged that bullet!
Your versions of all the characters are very enjoyable. Tier isn't shy but beyond her confidence, which she maintains without being uppity, she seems sensitive. Grimmjow's a thick skulled man capable of being understanding and cooperative without becoming a wuss. Even the characters with shorter roles are great: Orihime is fun-loving, silly, and patient when Ulquiorra gets a bit lost. Ulquiorra is a little naive about human culture but intelligent in his own respect. Gin is observant, clever and YES, naughty...naughty Gin! Mastumoto is affectionate, playful, and so not 'that dumb girl with boobs'.

Overall this tender, passionate fiction felt very complete. For an uneasy pairing you wrote spectacularly, there's nuthin' to complain about in "P.C.E.". Nuthin' I tell you. I'm a sucker for Grimmjow but I found myself reading for more than just his presence this time. I plan to read your "Resolution" in the future. Gonna keep an eye out for more of your stories, so please do write s'more!

I love this! The whole "love is blind" aspect resonates so well on both halves. I also really like the ran ram joke...
